I agree that we don't need to impress someone else. One of my husbands co-workers once said to him, "I believe in enjoying my life." My husband replied, "You think I don't enjoy my life? The Nutritarian diet is delicious!" Oh well, let him eat the way he wants. We eat the way we want.

I know processed sugars puts me in a non motivating funk mood even though it’s satisfying for the short time while consuming it.

I had the worst experience of looking up to a doctor years ago who didn’t like me. When I went to a London conference of plant based doctors I at the time had read some of doctor Greger book how not to die and when I went to the conference sitting in the audience I was amazed by all the knowledgeable doctors however I only had read how not to die and when dr Greger did a speech I knew his saying put it to the test so when he said it in his speech he said put it to the test and I couldn’t help saying that sentence anyway it was a terrible experience as I think dr Greger thought I was too nerdy and called to the audience “stalker” which I felt this doctor really doesn’t like me reading his book there must be something wrong with me so every time I read his work my subconscious rejected it as I felt no emotional care from this doctor (because of being shy) as I was too shy to go to a book signing. Any summit involving doctors Greger online I avoid. But Dr Fuhrman videos feel empathy to his audience which made me want to care about my health more.

Hospitals, doctors offices and schools should be places where good nutrition is taught and provided not places that contribute to disease and obesity. It is crazy the hospitals are feeding people the very food that caused the heart disease, high blood pressure or cancer that they are treating. Every person in the hospital should receive some nutrition education before being released. Every doctor visit should be an opportunity to educate patients about how food choices impacts their health outcomes. The fact that doctors do not get nutrition training as part of their training makes no sense. Medicare and Medicaid should require nutrition education as part of patient care. Focus should be on food choices. Fasting should be investigated as a treatment for disease.
