Would you eat this $0,50 Cow Heart? Whilst Stephan and i were snooping around Surco in Lima, We spotted a street food stand selling Anticuchos. I had finally found what I had been searching for. Let's go!

Fresh heart cooked correctly is delicious and melts in your mouth. The cow tongue and cow tail are the two delicacies that most will never try. However, if you like the taste of beef the tail is out of this world. The tongue is like like a too dollar rib eye taste. In a burrito its usually slightly Chewier, but slow cooked brazed it will make you slap your grandma.

Now cow stomach and heart on the other hand is a bit different. Im sure I would be fine, but the stomach being all chewy doesn't sound very great. I understand the need for certain families to make use of the entire animal and not waste any of it, but if I had a choice I wouldn't ask for stomach and heart over a steak lol. Same goes for pigs feet or tongue, not sure why people want to eat feet or tongue.

@@510ghostboy exactly…..FYI I also was poor at remembering names, did not realize I had a photographic memory, not auditory. Once I taught a cpr class for one 8 hour day, and I wanted to see if I could remember everyone’s first and last name, when they walked in.. when they arrived I greeted them, I asked their name. 16 arrived. All sat down in their chairs. As they sat down I wrote their names where they sat on a piece of paper. Once all had arrived, I announced I would repeat all their first and last names back to them. I turned over my seating chart paper but I could see the chart in my head as easy as pie!

Unfortunate side effect of repeating someone’s name: they now think you’re mentally impaired.
