What’s up, my friends? Today, I’m off on another eating Indian food for 24 hours adventure, but this time is super special because I’ve teamed up with Dodge to give away a car worth up to $105,000 to one lucky winner! Let’s go!
For this video, I’d be teaming up with my friend Paulo, an amazing videographer here in Miami. We’d be cruising around South Florida in a beautiful Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, making our way from Pompano Beach to Miami!
🇮🇳 DECCAN SPICE: / deccanspicepompano
🇮🇳 ZAIKA INDIAN CUISINE: / zaikaindiancuisine
🇮🇳 DHABA INDIAN KITCHEN: / tastebudsofindiamiami
Our first stop was Deccan Spice in Pompano Beach, where I met Soma and his wife Niru. There, they made me an authentic Hyderabadi-style goat dum biryani, garlic naan, tandoori shrimp, chicken hakka noodles, goat sukka, and cabbage pakoras! I ate them right in the kitchen!
The cabbage pakoras were crispy and flavorful, and went well with the tamarind and mint-cilantro chutneys. The tandoori shrimp were succulent and smoky, while I loved the dry masala in the goat sukka. The bone marrow was excellent and the coconut and curry leaves added an amazing amount of flavor!
Next was an authentic South Indian dish called chintha chiguru made with lamb. I loved the light and creamy gravy and tamarind leaves! I’d never had this dish before but I loved it! The chicken hakka noodles had a nice crunch from the onions and were super spicy!
The Hyderabadi dum biryani came with an egg and raita. It was so aromatic and I loved the onions. I added a chili to add some heat. Then, I tried the garlic naan with the chintha chiguru gravy. So good!
Then, we drove to Zaika Indian Cuisine in North Miami Beach, where we met Manoj. In the kitchen, I watched as they prepared a goat masala, a whole tandoori chicken, bullet naan, and Zaika Malabar chicken.
At our table, I started with a refreshing and creamy mango lassi shot. The bullet naan with the Zaika Malabar chicken was great. The naan was really spicy and I loved the coconut-based curry. I really liked the goat, which was super tasty. The sizzling, smoky, and juicy tandoori chicken was also excellent!
From there, we drove from North Miami Beach to Dhaba Indian Kitchen in Miami. My friend Arvind made me some Indian street foods, including a kathi roll, a Mumbai sandwich, and chicken lollipops.
The kathi roll was similar to a wrap and full of chicken, masalas, and cabbage. I added chili paste to make it spicy! Then, I jumped on the chicken lollipop with the chili paste, which gave the crispy chicken wing meat a nice kick! It also went well with the mint and tamarind chutneys.
My last dish was the Mumbai Sandwich, which contained aloo, sev, and vegetables between three slices of bread. I liked the lightly toasted bread and refreshing cucumber, as well as the soft, mashed aloo. Adding tamarind chutney really set it off!
And that’s it! Three incredible Indian restaurants in South Florida. Huge thanks to Dodge for sponsoring my latest eating Indian food for 24 hours adventure! Don’t forget to go to dodge258.com for your chance to win a Dodge car worth up to $105,000!
