You should give Wind Japanese and Thai a try! The one in Mississauga is particularly good, and young children will probably enjoy seeing their robots serve the food (you order items from an iPad). As a caution, however, I would avoid the one in Niagara Falls, as both the service and food fall short of the other locations.

Hi, how different is lunch buffet food selection vs dinner - do you know?

its mainly the same, I think the only real difference would be the dessert options and maybe their meats or breads
