In AUS we still have Christmas pudding but also pavlova is a popular Christmas dessert! Remember it’s summer for our Christmas so cold things are often preferred like prawns / seafood, cold meats and salad for lunch. My family very a weird tradition of making chocolate coated cherries, as well as strawberries, which are sooo delicious ❤️❤️

In my family, on christmas day we eat ham, pineapple and cheese toast toasted under the grill for breakfast. My favourite christmas food though is something my mum makes, she calls it christmas pudding ice cream, because it tastes like christmas pudding but in ice cream form. Might not work in Wales where its winter over christmas, but is fabulous in Australia's heat!!

You should try Spekulatius! Also really common in Germany but I think it's originally from the Netherlands. I guess Carys would love the normal spiced ones. For James, there is a butter version, also really good.
