Yes it hurts 😱😰. I just had Struvite stones surgically removed . The pain when they try to pass is excruciating and intolerable , then the stent pain comes after surgery . My experience lasted on and off about two weeks . If not for oxycodone and oxybutin I would want to die . I gave natural birth to my daughter and yes those pains are similar , but I would rather give birth every year then deal again with kidney stones . (I had short labor though , she was born in an hour after every 3 minutes contractions started )

I’ve had several dealings with kidney stones, stents, surgery, and lithotripsy. You need to ask your Dr for Ketorolac in pill form and keep it on hand if needed for pain. It’s not narcotic so it doesn’t make you messed up. It just gets rid of most of the pain. Like you can function on this stuff. But you’ll be limited to no more than 3 days of taking it.

Also, Dr. Youn it’s only the buldak noodles it is not top Ramen. Top Ramen is controlled by the FDA and they only allow a certain amount of sodium in each packet and considering each pack of Ramen noodle is two servings It’s still technically under the FDA recommendation. But! Buldak noodles are a whole different story!!!

I actually passed it and I heard it go ‘clink’ when it hit the porcelain in the toilet bowel. I was off work for a week and ended up getting fired because nobody believed me. I now drink 2 litres of water per day. Never again! Worst pain EVER!!!

@jeddybear590928 күн бұрын
There is salt/msg in the noodles themselves but I assume it's a combination of the noodles and the sachet packets that increases your risk. Edit to add: I also assume it's a problem of over consumption of these "easy/quick eats" cause they are cheap and fast to make in comparison to cooking a meal or ordering a takeaway. I'd hate for people to think "all ramen noodles are bad, cause: kidney stones". Like anything, excess is the danger, not the product itself.

@jeddybear590927 күн бұрын
@@mamashenny8811 buldak noodles are "ulcers in your mouth" kind of spicy. I've tried a few different flavours and the spice is so strong that you can't really taste the difference. If you're up for trying them, then give them a taste yourself but as someone who enjoys a nice vindaloo or Thai curry. The flavour is definitely lacking cause of the overpowering spice. Also, the problems people are having are because: 1) overindulgence (so the salt is a problem) 2) not used to spicy food (so they receive sores in their mouth/stomach/throat) I assume the problem with kids eating them is daring each other to try because they are very spicy (like those chilli tiktok dares)

I'm legitimately so baffled by the amount of people that like ..binge eating ramen. I love ramen and it's very cheap but it is NOT GOOD FOR YOU. Ultimately if you don't add toppings it's just salt water and noodles. I experience a lot of inflammation due to a genetic condition and I notice that when I eat a ton of ramen - like more than I typically would - I get achy and swollen and that's just me having ramen more than once a week. Instant ramen is not good for you! It will keep you alive and moderately energized but instant ramen is extremely high in sodium. And even homemade ramen is high in sodium because of the broth itself. However homemade ramen is also more biodiverse and has more bioavailable nutrients depending on how the broth is made and what toppings are added. But like...ramen is basically a party or going out meal. Not an everyday thing. Please don't hyper fixate on foods. I struggle with it too but y'all gotta diversify y'all's meals. I am begging you. Also. Stop. Drinking. The. Broth
