and THIS is why I love jasmine and chris. They respond to constructive criticism and try their best to make changes- and not in a pushy, perfectionist way, but in a "we're doing the best we can for the sake of the environment" kind of way. They could have left out the Jamba Juice worker still producing waste or the ikea guy including the paper boats- but they didn't because they're real people who emphasize progress over perfection. I also appreciate this video and their balanced lifestyles PERIOD. So many are drawn to veganism because the loudest vegan voices on this platform advertise veganism by saying you can eat more for less calories and showing off their abs. That's how I was first exposed to veganism. As someone with an eating disorder trying the be in recovery I feel like I often can't escape the "clean eating" and diet culture that is engrained in some (many) vegan videos. Jasmine and Chris show veganism as what is is and should be- a way to reduce harm and environmental damage with the ability to produce a happier, healthier life. much love

I was travelling with my partner to Berkely from British Columbia Last month and we were starved and had not eaten for hours and couldn't find a vegan place to eat on the road and then I thought of your video with Carl's Junior. We stopped for the beyond meat burgers and my partner asked how did you know we could find something to eat here, this is great and I jokingly said Jasmine and Chris. Thanks you guys you rock.

Im a beginner of being a vegan for 5 months already. And i been craving meat ..So in one of ur videos you went to Taco bell, Carl's jr, and subway .i .i decided to try them out . So i went to Taco bell first that was on a Wednesday and order crushed wrap with black beans and i order fresco style and it was so delicious 😍 i got two of them and it got me so full. And on Thursday i went to subway in my location they only had veggie patties and no sourdough bread 🙁 and it was ok. And on Saturday of the same week i did went to Carl's jr. And I got the Beyond Burger and it was delicious but it was too expensive with the meal and pay Iike $10 and some changes. Taco bell was like 7.00 and some changes. I live in California. Thank you so much for ur video's i enjoy watching them .

A little trick for Carl’s Jr. you can choose the cheapest burger they have and ask them to swap out the beef for beyond patty and saves you about 3 dollars! Also for subway the white and wheat bread are vegan!

At Denny's, I get the fit fare skillet without the egg whites. Pretty tasty. I also have them dry fry so they don't add butter or extra oil.

BYOC(heese) is a good idea, just like BYOM(ayo) is a good idea for burger places with vegan patties but lack vegan mayo. I hope we don't have to wait much longer for these big franchises to start offering vegan cheese and vegan mayo as options or by default to go with their vegan food. They're big enough to make their own versions if they don't want to use established vegan products like Violife or Vegenaise.

After a bad experience I had at Taco Bell years ago when they put bacon beans in the center of my burrito I have been scared to try Del Taco's Beyond meat Tacos. I was worried that some immature kid working there would switch the Beyond Meat for the animal meat. Are you able to tell the difference between the two by looking at them?

oh def! sometimes on lazy weekends i'll go all the way to ikea brooklyn (i'm in harlem) just to get the meal for lunch (still never tried the veggie dog but i will now!) and a bag of veggie balls, a bag of coffee beans, and their amazing blueberry jam. i'm so glad they're expanding their stuff.

This year we launched the new plant balls and have even more vegan options in the Swedish Food Market to purchase and take home, so how about making an updated video soon?? I work at Jamba and I love the greens and ginger it's my fav! Try it with no mango or peach sub pineapples and blueberries, sounds weird but is so good. Also, ask them to wash or sanitize the ginger scoop because it's kept in the same water as sherbet scoops, if you care about that. It takes like 2 seconds to do, we don't mind ☺️

Great video. I think it would be great for both of you to create vegan versions of UK recipes. Remember UK means that the recipes come from 4 individual countries Scotland, England,Wales and Northern Ireland. I think you should come to the UK and do a UK version of a fast food video.

I'm really enjoying these videos...going in reverse order of watching them. Living in Australia and in a regional area...it opens up the discussion of approaching food outlets and asking the questions. I had the vegan burger from Hungry Jacks and it was ok but they over compensated with two vege patties..super overload. No Beyond Meat patties which would be more enjoyable. McDonalds give you a flat no when asking for vegan options. You've inspired me to reach out to HUngry Jacks and ask for more vegan options...interesting to see the outcome on that one.

Del Taco, Fatburger, Burger King, Carl's Jr., and any all other fast food chains that are now (thankfully) offering vegan options, truly need to offer vegan cheeses, and vegan mayo, vegan condiment sauces etc. I finally tried the Beyond Burger last week at Carl's Jrs here in Southern California. It was tasty, in spite of that, some vegan cheese, and vegan mayonnaise would've made it all the more delicious. Those Del Taco hardshell tacos looked DELICIOUS.
