Some African Americans eat offal as well we call them chitterlings or chitlins and they eat it spicy with hot sauce. Most folk only eat it on occasion like family reunions certain holidays or other gatherings. I personally dont eat it though.

I used to prepare this breakfast meal at home yet i don't eat meat or offals but the way my people used to enjoy it 😊😊😊and complimented my cooking, remember i used not even to taste the salt but they never complained.

My grandmother used to make tripe but she used to put garbanzo beans potatoes green banana and vegetables and I would eat everything but the tripe and I've never eaten tripe since.
