I will try changing the capacitors in the APC I'm having to do the same with several smart UPS's at my place cuz one of them acted like the batteries were bad wasn't the case they are good the other one kept killing batteries

Is it an older beige unit by chance? I've heard that the older beige APC units commonly develop bad capacitors. It's also common for the older APC stuff to go through batteries quickly because apparently the charge circuitry is just a 7815 voltage regulator with a diode in series.

@@themaritimegirl all of them are the beige units other than the one cyberpower that I currently own I found four back UPS's into smart UPS is one of which is a 3000 watt rack mount 48 volt a 1000 watt 24 volt we've been having a lot of power problems recently because we have a nice storm right now in my state that I live in and I've lost several batteries just in the last few hours
