I want to clarify something, I am from Mexico, in the video they talked about federals, but already in those years of publication of this video, what was guarding the federal streets and highways, was the National Guard and SEDENA (Secretary of National Defense) , the National Guard replaced the old Federal Police, which in Mexico we called "Federals", the Federal Police was extinguished and all functions of Public Security at the Federal level became part of the National Guard, which was preserved It is Public security at the local level in charge of the State Police and the Municipal Police since in Mexico there are three levels, Federal level, State level and Municipal level (the latter is within the scope of each city within a State).

Thanks Dale! This was filmed almost 2 months ago before the crisis lockdown started. Plus Mexico we about 2 weeks behind the trend. Since we've been in our self quarantine spot the virus precautions have ramped up. Most folks don't leave the house without a mask where we are currently and it's been that way for few weeks now. I totally agree with you, though. we're much more relaxed down here than it seems our family and friends are back in the States. Hope this finds you well! - Dennis ✌️

This part of the country is located in the state of Hidalgo, and this side of Hidalgo is called El Valle del Mezquital, there are many water parks with thermal water like Tephe, Tepathe, EcoAlberto park, and many others, is safe, very cheap, but is not easy to go there if you don’t have a car. Very importan, is better to visit from Monday to Thursday otherwise you can find a lot of local people, really a lot...

I go to Mexico at least once a year and when i come back i always tell my American friends that Mexico has more to offer than just resorts. Mexico has hundreds of cool places like this one. Hey do you recommend going with a 16-21ft travel trailer...... Thanks to your channel I made it to the camping sight close to the ancient pyramids last night... I want to go to this place next after we view the pyramids
@EatSeeRV4 жыл бұрын
That's AWESOME! I wouldn't recommend doing that. The turns getting down to the parking area by the river ary VERY sharp and there is usually A LOT of traffic. You could unhook your trailer at the top of the road and drive your tow vehicle down. There is a huge gravel area where all of the giant tour buses park just before the steep windy part. Goggle map satilite view it and you'll see where what I'm talking about. Once you get there and drive it without the trailer you can decide if you think it's manageable with the trailer. How is the travel atmosphere down there right now? Does everyone seem calm about the virus? We are planning on returning in October. Please say hello to Reyna Mina for me! Safe travels. - Dennis ✌️
@Primordialfrequecy4 жыл бұрын
Ok Thanks good to know because it’s not easy driving a travel trailer especially here in Mexico. The atmosphere is pretty normal I didn’t think that they would allow me to pass through the borders because of the new Covid restrictions but there not even enforcing it... And things is kinda the same as when you guys were here... I wish someone would’ve warned me about the gas prices and then dam tolls lol was not ready to much!
@EatSeeRV4 жыл бұрын
😬 Oh yeah gas and tolls are spendy but it should even out with the cheap food and camping costs. That's good to hear. Enjoy your time in Mexico! Maybe we will see you down there depending on how far south you go. - Dennis ✌️

Oh! Liz and Dennis, I hope you see my question!!! We're up to this point and just past in our Binging of Eat See RV. DO YoU KnoW why these waters are so much more human-friendly than Yellowstone pools? Both are volcanic, so I'd think both would have lots of not-so-human-friendly-minerals, but not so??? Thanks for clarifying, if you know!
@EatSeeRV2 жыл бұрын
It's the amount of sulfur other minerals that are in the water. Yellowstone's Pools are too hot for organic matter to even live in it in some places. Your skin would melt off. These only have small amounts of minerals (comparatively) and not nearly as hot. Glad your enjoying the binge!

Wow what an amazing place. I just want to beg for more scenic footage and less selfies...those are the videos that really show the depth of a place... please forgive what sounds critical, but too often the shots of the location are just so quick....in other words, I want to see what you're seeing, mostly...
