I like what the lady said” Don’t expect your own country to happen here” i agree with you ma’am, if someone goes to other countries either to visit, work or live, they should adjust theme selves to what that country has and not to complain or compare to their own country. Thank you so much Sir and ma’am for living here that long. God Bless you and your family.🙏❤️🇵🇭

I lived in the neighborhood with Jim and Judy in 2001-2005 near the st. Scholastica's convent in baguio. They are such a very humble couple. They're arts and crafts enthusiasts too. I'm happy to see them again even just here in youtube.❤❤❤

Thank you folks for choosing the Philippines as your lifetime residence and in so doing it manifest your love and admiration to its culture and people. Filipinos are the most resilient people on the planet and our ability to pick up the pieces and start all over again. Just imagine about 26 typhoons that hit the country each year and most filipinos still manage to smile after each calamity. As the only Christian country in Asia, filipinos are guided in their day to day activities by the devotion to their faith and among top in the world of having a close knit family orientation. God bless the Philippines. Mabuhay! Watching from the USA.

The earthquake she mentioned happened on July 16, 1990. That was the strongest earthquake I felt so far as well. I still thank this couple for staying in the Philippines inspite of the circumstances that are commonly happening here. My respect and love for this couple will remain with them.

I remember visiting Manila that year when the earthquake strucked. I was staying at Manila Garden in Makati when I visited the Philippines from the U.S. I think that was the name of the Hotel at that time. I think the name of this Hotel now is Dusit Thani Hotel. The earthquake was so strong in Manila too but not as strong as in Baguio because the Epicenter of the quake was located there. I was in the Hotel at that time & was about to take the elevator to go to my room when this huge earthquake hit. Everyone in the hotel panic & ran outside the hotel.

Hi from New Jersey! Wow, I highly admire and salute your guests for leaving their country and live there in the Philippines. You know, it takes a lot of courage, strength, dedication determination, and guts to do what they did. It seems to me that they love my country since they have been living there for five decades. We left Manila in the mid 80s and moved to the States. We’ve been living in the U.S. for over four decades now and that’s because of my American stepdad who brought us here. He has a golden heart and is a kind-hearted person.!! Anyway, God bless this couple. 👍👍👍. I’m pretty sure that they will see my comments here one day .😊😊😊🙏🙏🙏. CHEERS!!! 🥂

I remember that earthquake. I think it was sometime in July, 1990. And then there was the eruption a year later. We were passing through from Diego Garcia going to Okinawa when it happened. Then we were shipped to the Middle East a few weeks later because one Saddam Hussein decided he didn’t like his neighbor and invaded. We were one of the first boots on the ground in KSA when that happened. A lifetime ago when I was young and stupid.
