Hi, I'm actually one of the 2 people that are in the Army% Leaderboards and for the Genie in the Legacy version he has an active hit box at the bottom left corner of the screen which can be hit with mini bombs.

Also, this glitch hasn't been patched and can be done in any version, in V1.2 however you have to actually wait for the Player 2 Has Joined Screen to fade and after that fades you have to pause immediately right after the join screen fades and rince and repeat.
