do you have any tips for the katakuri vs. lucci matchup? i play kata

@@xXCashMoniezXx you don't have a good matchup into Lucci as kata. You'll just have to swing life every time and ignore their board mostly. Lucci doesn't have a lot of counter cards, so you want to make them feel like they have to clear your board because you have their life so low. You get rewarded for playing the game as yellow and they get punished for playing the game from your on KO effects and triggers. Just gotta get lucky as yellow haha

For my personal experience. I try to wait till about 5-6 don turns since worst case they starve you but you get to draw and search and set up. I feel so bad having to play a 2k. I would rather commit a 5 drop luffy and start getting more draws.

I believe that to be the correct play yeah. I don't mind dropping a flambe early if I have another but I'm also still pretty green with the deck :) still learning a lot of it

Funny story about your part of trashing morias. Was 2-0 at locals and faced up against a moria player. He played ishoo and hit BOTH moria out of hand, the turn prior, I had trashed a moria having 3 in hand total. Point of the story. Keep morias if you have a decent hand size. lol

I’m still new to OP TCG so sorry if this is a stupid question but I thought you needed to have a life to discard to trigger Luffy’s +2k

No not a dumb question at all. So the card actually reads that you gain the +2000 until the start of your next turn. That's just inherent. Then if you 1 or more life cards you can trash 1 top life and then draw 1 from top deck. So even though the second part isn't performed. The first part is still able to be used because it is it's own sentence and therefore independent of the 2nd part
