I found instead of the Momo's I was running the 1C event from op01 that lets you rest 2 draw 2...So you play 2C hiyori + 4C hiyori + 1C event. activate 4C to bring momo and add 2C to life. So you have added 1 life and drawn 3 cards

Welcome in team! This is going to be my new an improved EB01 Wano decklist for Yamato! I've been playing around with the ratios and different combos and I've come to like this build best of all. The new cards we get from EB01 (hiyori) really pull this deck together. Momo (5c) really feels like he has a place in the deck now (other than just a dead draw) being able to Draw 1 + heal yourself + gain a blocker all for 4don is really good value. I try my best to go over difficult combos here w/ this build set up, like I do in every video, I've many Yamato builds on the channel, find one you like and give it a go. Hopefully you all enjoy this one, I've many different deck techs I didnt cover here probably, but more than likely you will get more information in other Yama builds here on this channel. Yamato is always a big threat and makes games much more intense with her effect especially with the build youre going with here. i saw in OP07 there a card thatll make this deck even more insane Flame Split and Demonic Aura Nine-sword style asura itll make Yamato very annoying in the new set another great deck profile and video. i got rid on Yamato for Ace and Bonney but think i might go back to trying her out again.

I’m looking forward to the “you can be my samurai” combo we can pull off in op07, we can do it now ofc, but it’s much for efficient in 07. Overall is just adds more combos and build flexibility to Yamato. The new events also look insane, it’s tough to put down this leader when you can make so many different builds

Honestly one of my easier match ups is rp law usually. Every once in a while the sim gives me a bad hand but most of the time I’m good. I do a ton of life manipulation with my deck. I would like to try and have Momo to cycle my deck but since I don’t own him I run the new shirahoshi blocker for now and 2 7c big moms with 2 soul pocus. That new hiyori helps a lot too with draw

what do you think of tony-yasu i use him as an extra playset of amaru being able to bump leader up by 3k early on helps apply the preasure and hes searchable off momo as well

Funny enough I really like that card,. I love trying to mix cards that no one is using, or perhaps people over look. I think its really nice, we just have to find enough space!

If I send you a Yamato deck to try would you be interested?? I’m finding this setup very nice. I’ve just beat rp law, 2 saka decks, gecko, py croc, nami and reiju pretty easily. I think I have a pretty nice balance. It might not suit yours or anyone else’s play style but I’m having a blast.

As a laker croc player I loved the match up you did great into it but we just run so much counter 😅😅

Truthfully we ran it back quite a few rounds, I got the W 1 time, croc is really hard to beat as yama. Between the healing (being yellow) and the new 1c event, directing my big swings, its tough!

Curious on the clarification for Kozuki momonosuke searcher, you said he can search out the Blocker Kouzuki momonosuke. Searcher Kozuki momo says Wano country, but Kouzuki momo is land of wano, is that the same thing ?

@PawsePlays After searching reddit I also figured this out 😊 I guess from Japanese to English translation Wano Country and Land of wano are the same. I just got my 1c momo searcher in the mail and he's actually "land of wano" vs the Simulator says he's "wano Country" Thanks for the clarification. Never liked Zoro in Yama. Kinda a disappointing card, IF you’re going anything over 7c , kid is better suited.

Hi I was wondering if you could explain people running the 5c 7k Yama-san in OP-07? Is it just mostly a 1k counter, or a body to cheat out with hiyori? Or just a character to raw play

Not sure why those people decide to do that. Personal preference I would assume. Banish Yama has value now due to hiyori cheating her out. But the 7k is harder to remove vs law. But than again a good Yamato player doesn’t care about that. In any case I go over this in the beginning of this video.

Hey Pawse, love your videos, it's inspired me to play yamato and main her. I've been having a blast with her ever since i started playing, went from 17th at locals to 6th, still working my way up and learning. Just yesterday at my locals tho I got completely walled three games in a row by a gecko moria who ran 16 blockers in his deck, and TWO Uta's running Kid... Any advice on how I can possibly get through Kid on Uta specifically.. both games I felt completely helpless. Was frustrating to say the least..

Hi. Mountain god here, the uta match up is won by running/getting kid in board before them and leaving your board standing while rotating swinging 7k

Glad to hear! Once you pick up a deck and learn the matchups its so much more fun to play! Ive learned w/ uta, you wanna control board and get cards (counter) outta hand early. Uta isnt so tough to beat vs something like Rosi + kid, majority of uta decks dont run that combo. So its a lil easier to deal with, in the late game going big swing after big swing, just allows them to build counter for kid. So I'd advise not swinging so huge after the first big hit, I control board after I do the first 2 dmg. Some of your key pieces in this matchup are going to be Izo (rest small uta) Onami, banish + double Hody Kikunojo (free 6k-8k swing)

Same way you’ve always won against enel. Draw onami and hody, or lose. Nothing changes going into the matchup, outside of Enel just getting much better in EB01 and OP07.

How is fortress Yamato in EB01? I took a break during after OP06 and I’m coming back and still want to play fortress. Are there any changes I should make to the classic fortress Yamato?

Fortress is still very very strong. Unless youre up Enel or a good saka, or Uta.

Took this list to locals and went 4-0. Match ups were Katakuri, B/Y Luffy, Sakazuki and Purple Kaido.

I like satori in Yama. Bege is just a defensive pick with hiyori. Satori, helps in those control matchups, saka, Moria. I have many builds with and without satori

@@PawsePlays One more question. What about the 2k counter Yamato from ST13? It's searchable, and with leader ability it's a 6k rusher if you need an extra swing for game. Have you experimented with that one much?

You would never play that onboard in a Yamato deck. Its just a 2k counter. Nothing more, if youre doing that to "go for game" you lost a while ago. Your win condition is Hody jones.

I dont necessarily agree with you thinking blirple crocodile is not there. I have been playing it for a lomg time and have taken many victories from top tier decks. You should give it a proper chance because it is very flexible depending on how you choose to build it.

It’s not there. Just because you can beat certain “top tier decks” doesn’t make a rogue deck meta. That’s not how it works. Unfortunately. Blurple croc has had issues for a very long time, it also hasn’t topped any bigger events. The deck has “potential” just all the pieces are not there yet.
