bn in business 30plus years. in the auto salvage/core business. only recently started selling on ebay, however, I've been binge-watching you and steve raiken, rally roots, bearded picker etc.,etc, for 5-plus years. Man I just wish I had really began on ebay and amazon fba back then even had started a youtube channel. You all were just starting on youtube. I think you started a little later than them. to answer your question, ive always preached that you make your money when you BUY, not when you Sell. You control the profit that way. Things will only sell for what the customer is willing to exchange money for. there is a line that is simply TOO MUCH to pay. However you can control your profit buy buying low. Its the dream of course to buy low-sell high. Often things will not sell as high as you wish, thats when your BUYING makes the profit more than selling. I just started in February 2020, so I'm a quarantine business survivor lol I currently have 406 things listed and I hit top rated last month. I started out selling things from the closet, now I spend 3-4 days a week at thrift stores and antique malls. I strive to average 50 listings a week. I would be considered a hobby store, too. I have clothes, shoes, games, glass items, and anything I find that I think is cool and will sell :) I was a work at home mom while my kids were at home. They're both grown and on their own now, so I continued my normal work at home life for a while. Then I started watching you, Lonnie (SF), Josh (HT), John (CP), both Kevins (CP and TP), Drew, Lindey, and several others.. and I got hooked. Told my husband I was going to stop my other profession and start doing this. I had a bit of a nest egg, he has a great job, so he said go for it. And here we are - me leaving huge paragraphs to tell you my life lol Thank you for another great video!

ive been reselling on ebay since sep 2019 tried to dropship when i first started and ended up geting up 5 defects due to canceling the transaction because of item being out stock and ended up with a 15 percent defect rate so stoped for a long time to rethink my selling stragety and just started reselling on ebay in May of 2020 to bring my rating back up was able to bring my defect rate to down 6.58 percent im a 76 sales so far and made a little over 2,000 these videos have been helping i just wish people would leave more positve feedback i stopped dropshiping and started sourcing around my area and local thrift stores i would say im at 0-35 listings

You make your money, when you have a plan of consistency. You should always know where your main places of sourcing are, what time you list and what time you Package. You should never wake up in the morning guessing, because your efficiency will suffer. This does not mean you won’t evolve, on the contrary if something is not working you will catch it quicker, Hence more sales and less struggle.

You make your money, once you pay all your fees for eBay and shipping plus taxes and take subtract that from the item sold, this also includes what you paid for the item. For example you buy and item for: $10.00 and sell that item for $50.00. So you sold it for $50.00 the eBay fees was $5.00 you also paid $10.00 for shipping which was free plus paid $10.00 for the item last the Taxes $5.00. After 30 days you get the money cleared after all the above fees paid you made $20.00 bucks for that item.
