Beautiful instrument. They have one up Connecticut in mint condition, I have to think about this seriously. It would be great thing for my DX series synths, and KX5 remote keyboard.

nice playing, i've got a great question.. will a Yamaha KX-88 MIDIcontroller work for praticing with a DAW (Cubase 5 ect.) or do i have to buy a stagepiano like Yamaha P85 with onboard speakers and installed sounds? Will the sounds be good enough with the KX-88 all over the keyboard?

Was the four sliders used to control the volume or tuning on what modules or tuning the KX88 was midi'd to?

+michael jagger the sliders in THIS ebay-setup just controled the "Drawbars" of the "B4" - but on stage I used a seperate Midi-Controller for that - and didn't use the 4 sliders at all...

@notraep it has no speakers - that's why I sold it... it has no built in sounds - you need to have an expander or a PC to get sounds.

Hab den KORG 01W/PRO X mit 88 Tasten und 36 KG - Bestes Keyboard ever......nutze ihn auch nur als Masterkeyboard. Hab sogar den KORG KRONOS 2 - 88 Keys verkauft

Does this keyboard have built in speakers? or do you need to have a PA or speakers plugged into it? also, does it work as a standard keyboard or do you have to use it as a midi controller? thanks

Amigo muito bom!, ninguem fala sobre o KX88, comprei um a pouco tempo, gostei muito!, mais percebo que a sensibilidade das teclas pode melhorar. talvez editando mesmo! so encosto na tecla e ja sai som!, não consigo executar frases rapidas na mesma tecla, tipo, rufos de caixa de bateria, se puder ajudar agradeço muito!, e parabens.
