Had a great result the other day. A PS4 Rock band Drum Set with Sticks for £3 in a charity shop. I know these sell for £100+ on eBay etc. But really didn't wanna deal with the hassle of postage etc. So took it to CEX and got a £66 voucher, which I used on a PS5 controller. Paying £3 for a PS5 controller felt like a result! Still had £8 on a voucher and I had originally bought a PS5 as my Xbox One X had seemingly given up the ghost. Was convinced that the harddrive had gone so used my voucher to get a little 500Gb harddrive fitted it and got the One X working again. Sold that for a quick £60 so nice chunk of the PS5 paid off!

I know I change my mind fairly often but the CEX credit is being kept for a Series X. The profit will be used to buy games in boot sales, retro stores etc Profit wise, when I buy something, I take the cash off straight away. When I sell something, the cash goes back in. I'll mention how much profit I've made on each item as and when it sells

I've got Mortal Kombat In hard back complete guide with the character move cards, not written on. Got it for £1 from Cash Con. Also have Deus Ex in hard back guide and Assassins creed Brother Hood in soft back, Assassins Creed III in soft back and also Dead Space 2 in soft back. All cost me £1 each. The MK one is collectable, but keeping it

I’d have risked the Wii personally, Wii discs are known for showing up scratches and often work without issue, they also come out pretty easy in a cleaner. If the Wiimotes didn’t have any corrosion, even those may have covered the £20 outlay

You're absolutely right. I'm being far too fussy lately and I regret it once I get home and look through the footage. I've had one person complain that a disc was scratched worse than the description suggested and ever since then, I've been reluctant to buy anything with a mark on it. I need to get out of that habit
