HI. Thanks for this video. I was really interested in the multimeter because I have the same one that I just bought. I am brand new to electronics and half of the stuff this multimeter has on the switch dial I do not understand. I know this is a big ask but could you do a newbe video for people like me that explains all of that stuff? I get some of it. I know how to measure AC and DC voltage safely and I know where the AC/DC switch positions are. I have figured out the continuity buzzer and what it is for. I am not sure how to use Amps tester or what all the switch symbols mean and hFE has me a little baffled also, despite trying to understand the manual which is NO help at all for beginners. Ohms has me a little puzzled also. I know its for measuring resistance, its the settings I am not sure of. Then finally there is the NPN/PNP socket. I know its for measuring transistors (I think) but HOW to do it and what the results would mean I have no idea about. Any tips you could give would be great because I want to troubleshoot a circuit in a rechargeable torch I own that has a serious short circuit going on. I would also love to know how to test diodes, capacitors and transistors. Any chance, or would that be too much? I will understand completely if it is. I know it's a lot to ask but hey, if you never ask you never get help. Whatever you decide, thanks again for this video. At least I learned a little more from it.

mine had the temperature reading not right so I calibrated it after a digital termometer

Sorry, how did you calibrated it?

@@TheDIYFilmmaker by leaving the unit near another digital termometer, then with a screw driver, I adjusted the variator on the PCB till it matched.
