I have to disagree. The only thing eBay does as a service is show your items. If you don't promote your items do not get shown. That's extortion, not providing a service.. 🙄

Understandable perspective, but the organic search is what is included with your “regular” fees. Promoting is an additional pay service available if you want more “exposure”. It can’t be extortion if they aren’t forcing you to do it. You still get the “organic” placement if you don’t pay. Thx for your input. I enjoy learning about how others see things. When you search for an item on google it’s easy to see that eBay listings are not at the top of the search Poshmark, Mercari, and Amazon are dominant. When eBay was actually allowing sellers to sell organically listings were showing at the top of google search that is not the case today. Proof that eBay is suppressing the algorithm. It doesn’t really matter if you promote because they continue to supress anyway; I promote and it really doesn’t make a difference. Once upon a time when eBay was great I had sales daily. That’s just not happening.

The scenario sample of buying an item for $5 and selling it for $50 is very rare eBay is truly not worth it trust me I've been with them from the beginning sure they want to make money in their business so are we we are almost like working for somebody without getting paid or maybe getting paid $5 an hour that's not worth it researchers on eBay take note
