Super hot tip for college students. As we go into finals season try studying for half an hour and then taking 5 -10 minutes to add a detail to a batch of minis. Wash rinse repeat for about 6 to 8 hours. A wet pallet is an absolute must for this. It will give your brain a mental break so you don't burn out by using a completely different area of your mind. Improve your GPA and address your box of shame at the same time.

Sounds like you like the doom wheel for the same reason I liked the night goblin fanatics from fantasy; They can just as easily take your army out in a nightbrew-fuelled psychosis as they can the army they were originally thrust towards.

I feel like my rats were too efficient. Back in the early 2000;s when the new Skaven box was released, none of my war machines failed to the point of chaotic fun times, not even my warpfire thrower team! Love seeing KZbinrs showcase Skaven!

A few years ago, a friend at the time gave me a big box of Skaven that he'd bought cheaply from a flea market, all badly painted and put together. I still haven't finished fixing up and repainting all of them. :) The Doomwheel was the only model I deemed completely beyond repair, it was just so caked in plastic glue that several bits of it had melted into blobs. It's just one of those models that's really easy to mess up.

Between you and Squigmar I finally got the balls to paint some of my minis. First one look like hot garbage, but im on the third. Not to sound cocky, but with both of y'alls videos I was able to make something really nice out of a set of paint thay aren't for Necrons, and a singular brush. So thanks! Heya, long time subscribed lurker. If you're ever hit with hot glue to remove again, try hitting it/soak with isopropyl, let it sit and then have at it. Isopropyl de-bonds most hot glues, releasing the surfaces.

Yay! The Skaven are among my favourite factions for Warhammer, possibly due to villainous rats appearing in so many cartoons I loved as a kid. It helps that one of their shticks is being mad inventors and that there is much potential for Ork-y conversions that lean more towards steampunk. Your Doom Wheel has me wanting to craft my own, which I might do wit a sawed-off cardboard tube. :)

@eBayMiniatureRescues Жыл бұрын
I've talked to the guy who sent me this model a few times, I also have quite a few more of these minis that are absolutely covered in hot glue. His response when I asked him was that he didn't have access to the types of hobby stuff that we normally use, like glue and hobby paint. The paint I can understand, rural areas in Canada might be limited on supplies, and that's where the package I got came from, but, I'm not sure how one gets hold of hot glue as the alternative, but that's what he said. The other more likely possibility is that I was being trolled and he did it on purpose, but I really don't know lol
