Refrain: Line 1: This is our Ebenezer, hitherto, you have helped us. Line 2: Let's dance and rejoice and give the Lord the glory. Line 3: This is our Ebenezer, thank you, thank you Lord. Line 4: It's not by our power, it's Lord that has the knowledge and understanding. Line 5: The glory that the world saw in us and started broadcasting is actually your doing in our lives. Line 6: The song of Halleluyah and Hossanah fills our mouth.

I give thanks to the Almighty God for a successful business run - 7 years! and still very much strong regardless. Over the years, I dedicated about 60% of my earnings to support, families, childhood friends, friends, and people I never met. How I did it without it killing my business is one huge miracle I know nothing about. But I know the Almighty God does not bless one person in isolation. there's always a purpose. I am not the most prayerful person, but I know I have 'this' relationship with the Almighty God. Thank you, Kent, for this beautiful praise song. It's so deep, I had to drop this testimony in tears. Thank you, Almighty God - I am humble still.

Check out the translation below. It's up also. @dreyeben316 @dreyeben316 5 months ago this is the translation: Intro: This is our Ebenezer, Hitherto has Thou (Lord) helped us. Let us dance, rejoice and give glory to the Lord. Stanza 1: As I sojourn in life, You are the one helping me, Prosperity sought after me, Not by me, it is the Lord’s doing. It is not by my power that I survived many evils, It is my deep thoughts that is making me give gratitude. Chorus: This is our Ebenezer, hitherto has Thou (Lord) helped us. Let us dance, rejoice and give glory to the Lord. This is our Ebenezer, thank you, thank You (Lord). It is not by our power; help is in the hands of the Lord. The glory that the world sees and are shouting, it is done by You (Lord). Our mouth is filled with songs of hallelujah. Stanza 2: Thank You for where you started, Thank You for how far You have done it, We are grateful Lord, For where You are taking us. If the Lord has not been on our side, Where would we have landed? But now we give thanks again and again. Stanza 3: Because some trust in chariots, some trust in horses We that trust in You, This is how far You have led us It is a glorious place; that is why we say, Songs of hallelujah, songs of hosannah, songs of ebenezer and hosanna, filled our mouth! Vocals: Sing Ebenezer o o! Hitherto you have helped us! It is established! Let us Dance and rejoice! Thank You for where You started! Mass Voice: Oh, oh, oh, oh! We combine our voices to give thanks, (2x) Oh, oh, oh, oh! We sing song for joy and bring our thanks, (2x), (because) Inexhaustible and uncountable blessings that You have given to us (ah! ah! ah! ah!) That is why we a thanking You (Lord) Vocals: Make a joyful noise to the Lord, (oh! eh! oh, oh, oh, oh!) Bless the Lord oh my soul I bring offerings unto Him We combine our voices to give thanks Because of His inexhaustible goodness (I say), inexhaustible and uncountable goodness that You have given to us (ah! ah! ah! ah!) The whole world speaks of Your goodness because of inexhaustible goodness that you do to me This is our ebenezer, hitherto has Thou (Lord) helped us.

Oh wow, this song is brilliant. And I really love how the backup singers are diverse in their dressing/outfits to show that you don't have to fit into a specific category or look a certain way to praise God. Come the way you are and worship Him. This in itself is passing a great message. Kudos to the team
@adebayoakinyemi5824 Жыл бұрын
I really love the observation you made. The diversity of dress codes and mannerisms displayed in the shooting is something insightful. I mean, isn't it provocatively insightful and interesting to see a lady on Ijab in the team?! Again, the team accommodated her and others on mufti to mix with those on Sutana despite the 'Celestial' inspiration of the original rendition. It mattered less to the team the potential criticism such uncommon diversity may attract than the symbolic harmony it projects. And that is impressive! For one, it connotes that beyond the diversity of religious doctrines and ideologies, the very practice of religion does not abhor harmony and collectivism. In other words, if humans harmonise, it is owed to human understanding of the social constructionism of religion. And on the other hand, if they disunite, it derives from human misunderstanding of same. Pitiable! Even though this insight may not be the primary objective of those who put the performance together, the team has succeeded in using this clip to contribute critically to one of the most fundamental social issues in the history of human diversity related to prejudice, stereotype, and discrimination. And it is to an eternal credit of the CCC that its fruits - in terms of music depth, talents, tolerance etc - inspired this noble value. And to ID Cabasa, who directed the performance, Kudos!

Want to thank God for allowing you to unleash a message that speaks to souls and one that triggers man's heart of gratitude. It arouses mortal being's consciousness to the reality of God's absolute power in enabling man to pass through the travails of life unharmed. It legitimizes God as the one who makes us to reach greater heights only through His benevolence but not through man's wisdom or effort. lm sure this song will permeate all corners of the world and be a testsment of God's goodness to His peoples in whatever situation they may find themselves. Shalom.

It’s so surprising how I keep skipping this video since it was released until I decided to listen to it today. It’s been on loop since. I cannot get enough of it. The wordings are powerful. If not for God in my own life… #Ebenezeri

My observation stems from the diversity of dress codes and mannerisms displayed in the shooting. It is quite an insight. I mean, isn't it provocatively insightful and interesting to see a lady on Ijab in the team?! Again, the team accommodated her and others on mufti to mix with those on Sutana despite the 'Celestial' inspiration of the original rendition of the song. It mattered less to the team the potential criticisms such uncommon diversity may attract than the symbolic harmony it projects. And that is something impressive!

This song is so beautiful and rich Here is our Ebenezer, see how far you have helped us We should dance, rejoice and give glory to our lord Here is our Ebenezer, Thank you so much It's not by our might, our lord grants us wisdom and understanding The glory people see in us and praise, about us. The Lord is moving in the midst of Nigeria and Africa and it is EVIDENCED in the NEW Songs of Praise that He is inspiring His children to write and bring to the world. It tells me that He is working in that Continent beyond what we can yet see or perceive and it shall come to pass that the Lord our God, in the time appointed, delivers HIS PEOPLE! We raise our Ebenezer!

I have NEVER commented on anything on social media in my life. This is my first, because I will like a longer version with more humming and ho ho ho with more female angelic singers and more harmony.
