Thanks for this, still relevant after 2 years! I was about to send mine back. Who'd have thought the instructions were ABSOLUTELY USELESS! 91 comments and questions about how to turn the fkn thing on/off! UPDATE: Mine is Crap. The blinker won't turn off and I''m afraid I'll go under a truck trying to do it. It's in the bin.

For those who are confused how to pair them. You have to put the Light close to the controller then you have to hold the middle button of the light to connect them.

I guess you can't. In addition, the sound indicates whether the device is working as it should. Otherwise, you might think that you have switched the mode and the battery in the remote control may have worn out and not sent the request. Similarly, the battery in the lamp.

@@timetobeast7261 yes, you have to disconnect battery cell. Once you placed it back, the system reset and connected.

Did i used jargons? @@timetobeast7261 The controller battery needs to remove/changed if cell dried out, it will reset the controller and paired for you with the light. The diode that transmit IR wave have to disconnect from current supply. It helped me, hope helped others too.

8-36 hours depends on how much you use it, 8 H are enough for longer trips and you can charge it up really fast

Any user have problems like this ? I turn on the back light with one push on the black button. Directly the red 16 LED diamond shape backlight is on. The device is not reacting to any of the remote control buttons. Please if you have any idea....

Yes, you can, I purchased two units recently and managed to sync one of the controllers to the two devices. Just do a normal sync to the second device following the instructions in the manual.
