For a traveling elderly person this might be great. My 70+ year old parents will not balance around on a scooter, but something like this definitely looks less challenging

There is lots of metal, and big battery. You can simply convert into a weapon or bomb.

Broke my knee playing paintball like 10+ years ago. Would definitely use that in an airport. Heavy backpacks destroy my knee.

I've actually been considering these for a while now. It's totally because it seems practical for when you have connecting flights you have to rush to and not an excuse because I'm a big kid and want to have fun. Was wondering how airport securities reacted to them and if they ever gave anyone trouble for riding them around in a safe manor. Nice to see you didn't have any problems. Thanks for sharing this! Also, I feel like they should've made the frame drop down like an electric scooter's deck frame does to give more interior room and even stability.

Yeah, ouch, when you hit an imperfection in the road/pavement you’d go flying. Great fun on smooth airport floors or similar if you have core mobility & can save yourself if you topple.
@EbikeSchool3 сағат бұрын
Yes when I rode it home from the airport, the sidewalk was so rough I just rode in the street. Fortunately my neighborhood is low traffic, but I would not suggest using this in the street in most places!
@hannahbanana958 сағат бұрын
It seems kindof fun, not gonna lie. I’d buy it if I could afford it and if I was in an airport often. Zooming around the airport while on layover sounds like a blast!

I love that you were willing to potentially look silly in order to make this video and show us the reality of riding this motorized suitcase. That is true dedication. Looks like you had fun, though. Too bad you weren't able to have partners for a race. That would've been epic. And thank you for the free book! Your giveaways are wonderfully kind.

That’s a very cool “scootcase”. Even tho I would feel dumb riding it around. The fun level definitely outweighs the feeling dumb part. I’d say you got a good deal on it especially if they’re close to a grand on Amazon (which is ridiculous by the way). Loved the video as always and definitely looking forward to your factory tour video coming up.

lol. I got my first ebike a few days ago. I felt similarly silly trying to figure out how to hand-signal while both braking and turning (signaling hard-required here and there are no bike lanes so I drive like a car). luckily, I have the means to rig up something to do this automatically for me (uh, with lights, not an automated arm), but the first couple road tests were amusing ... for the people watching me.

These kinds of suitcases may not be permissible on certain airlines such as Singapore airlines becos of the lithium battery. This is regardless of the size of battery or removability.
@AnonVideos5 сағат бұрын
All phones have lithium batteries. Some implanted devices are also lithium powered. There is most likely a capacity limit.
@chrispek39124 сағат бұрын
You could bring laptops with non-removable batteries onto Singapore Airlines flights, so I don't see why this suitcase is not permissible. There will be a capacity limit.
@deragoth42503 сағат бұрын
Yes turns out I was reading the wrong segment. All personal transport equipment with lithium batteries are prohibited without exception. However smart luggage with motors can be brought in as hand luggage weighing less than 7kg or checkin with batteries removed

As one of those people with mobility problems, I found some of your language in this a little condescending, especially when talking about how much better backpacks are than cases with wheels. I physically can't wear a backpack, and cases with wheels are a lifesaver, especially in situations like getting around an airport. You need to consider this more as a mobility aid, and put yourself in the shoes of someone who isn't able to walk the distances involved in air travel. For me, every step causes physical pain, so something like this could be amazing to help me travel. I did enjoy the video, and this is kind of borderline toy / mobility device, but it wouldn't hurt to try to understand how it actually feels to have mobility problems, because it effects more people than you think.
@EbikeSchool3 сағат бұрын
Hey, I hope I didn’t offend you or anyone, I expressed that as my opinion, and explained that even though I’m a backpack guy, my wife has the opposite opinion and is a suitcase girl. I also suggested later in this video that one of the best applications of this scootcase would be for those with impaired mobility as it solves both of those problems, not carrying luggage and also not walking long distances.
