Did you make sure to use the key to lock the battery in place? That does it for me. And then you can also remove one screw from the back seat and the seat slides back off to access the electronics.

Dude,you could learn a bit more about the bikes before you review them. What voltage is the battery, knowing that the battery was not locked that’s why it rattled. Understanding that the difference in pedal assist is the speed of each and since it’s a single speed it will run out of pedal cadence at some point does not make it the same in all levels
