There's a perk you can use that's helpful with this. I believe it's called adaptive munitions. Essentially, the perk changes your damage output to match the element type of the target you're shooting at. I believe it's on the Positive Outlook Auto rifle

See the reason why this mission is hard solo is because not everybody is as prepared as this. Some don't even have Polaris Lance. You'll die a lot, but don't let that get to you and you don't get reset if you die at the boss. Just keep going until you do it. It's worth it and overcoming such a challenge makes you feel like you've reached a new level. Cheers. -A random f2p

It would be great if it were a challenge that had a logical way to overcome. This mission is difficult for dumb mechanics like a time limit, horrible platforming (which is abundant in this game), bullet sponge boss encounters, and enemies that can literally one shot you at times. That's not a challenging game. That's annoying and a waste of time until you have a squad to just tear through it because you're all so OP that it doesn't even matter. Bungie wants that time sponge. They benefit from more people squading up, and players having to waste hours upon hours on 1 mission for 1 gun that used to be available, but now is locked behind a grind-enducing mission. Destiny is everything I hate about what gaming is now.

The increased difficulty in Normal kept things exciting throughout, and the extra time keeps things from being too overwhelming.

Ebontis, thank you for the video 👍 my main problem with these missions is not even really the encounters so much as it is my absolutely horrible sense of location. I get so lost in those narrow vent spaces and the trevor confuses me so much. I guess my real world bad sense of location kind of transfers to video games. I got the outbreak rifle the first time around by stroke of luck going in with randos who eventually reached the boss while i was basically still running in trevor circles unable to find the exit 😅 dont think i will put myself through this all over again, but i enjoy watching your content. Keep it up 🙌

Couldn't you get 1810 armor in the hall of champions when you first go there? That should help bump you up.

Getting stuck in that air hanger after dropping down the first elevator drove me mad. God knows how im going to figure out the floor psttern thing and where to go with that electrical thing. Dunno how people follow that one 4 resistance doesn't help 😂

Jumping puzzles are my bane. This helps, but not enough, I burn through 25 minutes falling to my death. 2 hours later, I made it to the boss arena with 90 seconds left. There is no way I can make it to the jumping puzzle with 30+ minutes left. I don't have the firepower.

Im an average veteran gamer.but this mission is ridiculous.i saw a youtuber put a cheat up where it stops the timer.not tried it and would never cheat but if other people are using this cheat then how hard is this mission?im on xbox and find it near impossible.why make things so hard for the average gamer.

Because the average player doesn't need it or do the missions and the majority want challenges and fun missions. It's like saying don't have an endgame, make it all easy so everyone has everything and it gets boring and dies.

It's actually not as difficult as you think. I initially hated it because of the difficulty of the enemies but after refining my gear and power level, they are easier to deal with. It's the puzzles that look difficult and annoying but even those are not hard once you learn the patterns. It's supposed to be challenging. I get that casuals just want to have fun. This mission isn't for you if you don't want a challenge
