I was very intrigued by this song and did a small investigation based on the words of the song. What I figured out this is the old folk song that was existed in many Russian regions with dozens of variants. Some simbols used in this show, the words within the song, the area of spreading gives me strong feelings that this song is even pre-christianic years old. The name of the song is - "The song of orphan bride". Look at the young gentleman, one of the judges. Initially he shakes the head trying to get rid of Diana's magic. At the very end of the song he is looking to her, but not directly, not eyes to eyes. He is looking to her indirectly, accepting her domination, having no power to resist. This is real magic of folk song and Diana's shamanic abilities.

I will explain to you the meaning of this old Russian song that was sung during the wedding. Since a much shortened version was made for the modern stage, not even all Russian people understand its meaning. An orphan girl from a foster family is married off (most likely, to a man older than her and not of her own free will). She comes to the river (reka), affectionately calling it rechenka. The river in the folklore of many peoples is the border between the world of the living and the dead. She turns to her deceased parents: she asks for advice and blessings. An orphan girl is faced with a choice - to drown herself, committing the sin of suicide, or still accept the circumstances and "go with the flow". What will she choose? This is decided by the audience together with the performer of this song.

Rechenka is Russian and it means little river and Diana Ankudinova is known as the QUEEN OF GOOSE BUMPS. She's a contralto which is the lowest vocal register for a woman. She actually drops her tongue down to her laryngth that's why she sings like that. I think She's able to do polyphonic signing.

Thanks for the reaction. This is an old wedding ritual song, it's like a puzzle, it consists of phrases taken from ritual songs. Where it is sung in a whisper is like the words of a deceased mother, because in Russia since ancient times it was believed that the river is the border between the world of the living and the dead, as in the mythology of others countries. So the girl-orphan came to the river to tell the mother that she was being given away for the unloved, to a strange family, ask for blessings and cry.
