The entire documentary was broadcast on french tv 1 or 2 months ago. It last about 1hour or a little bit more I dont remember well but it was really nice to watch. Apparently its a Korean production. I love how the actors play and the cgi images, how they explain the history of Suryavarman the 2nd the builder of Angkor. Feel proud to be Khmer. At least we have this to show to the world and let us hope for the future of our country because we are only known for 2 things: Pol Pot and Angkor

I apologize for the behavior of my countrymen, they tend to be very enthusiastic about our culture but I can hardly blame them due to what the government made our neighbors out as (It's almost like propaganda). We are not all like this, most of as actually want to put it all behind us and look to a more friendly future. Funan was Khmer derived from the Khmer word "Phnom" calling by the Chinese. The first Khmer King of Funan was King Kaudinya Varman who married to native Khmer Queen Soma and the last Khmer King of Varman today is King Sihanouk. Go learning Khmer history and its written on the world history as well.

funnan is cambodian chenla is cambodian too. funan and chenla is the the moment of time funan start from 1century to 6century and chenla from 6 to 9 century.and angkor from 9 to 15 century.

The royal families invaded and the religions invaded. Funan & Chenla married each other. Funan royal family was Buddhism (The Moon dynasty) and Chenla (The sun dynasty) was Hindu, both are the same Khmer people, Khmer always fighting each other for power but never changed Khmer identity.

funan is the fist khmer name and 2 is chenla your explaination is wrong. funan capital is in takoe(angkor boriy) chenla is in kompong thom (sombopreykok) yab nas why don't you study more about khmer history . if you have question ask me i'll explain you with the recommendation.

Funan & Chenla were called by Chinese. Khmer have their own names Nokor Phnom for Funan and Kampuchea for Chenla. I knew my Khmer history that's why I'm telling that dude yevonsama above who has no clue about Funan.

What i wish for is Khmer, Thai, Lao, Vietnamese and other people live on the same world, share the same peace, love and culture. Those culture, art and temple build for people, mean for human being to take care them. No reason that we fight while we are all now a modern person with good educated. Why we need to fight? as we all know nothing good can get from fighting or war besides sadness, death and lost our relatives. Angkor Wat is regarded as to the world heritage, so it is human's property.
