It was a grievous mistake that we have naively colluded with covertly envious and enemies of Ethiopians proud cultural heritages and had regrettably buried our rich history in 1974 communist revolution. Now, It is becoming good and encouraging that the new generation is enthusiastically realizing that never again to destroy own history! While sometimes visiting the 6Kilo lion Zoo in around mid and late 70th, my dad used to tell me about the affection he had to and characteristics of Makaria and other prominently named lions which are obviously known to the then most of pioneer forefathers and children of Addis Ababa; especially around 6 and 4 kilo villages.
