I think I've asked on another video, How do I resize the screen share? because the camera feed layer is covering the content, which defeats the purpose of sharing the screen (professionally speaking). Edit: additionally, how do we show and resize two application windows in the overlays? I refuse to believe that a paid program wouldn't have these 3 basic functions. There has to be a way.

Thank you, this was useful. Ecamm Live is my favorite software, across categories. The only limitation I've come up agains is the missing ability to "embed" a browser window like I do a floating image or pfd file, as an overlay. With overlays I can then use interview overlays, but sadly it doesn't work as sexy when sharing a web page (via screen share). But with some tweaking I got it to work. Let's call that a nice-to-have request to Ecamm, shall we :)

I know I can use HDMI out and HDMI in with my computer, but I'm looking for an network or NDI solution (if it exists). I tried vMix Desktop Capture, but it is lagging. Does any other option exist?

What if you wanted to "share" your camera view ( if it was focused on a whiteboard) as if it were an application window? So that if you were a part of a Zoom meeting, your camera focus (writing comments on the whiteboard) could be seen by all participants as the main window during a feedback session while they talked. Is that possible?

Hi Adrian, is it possible to use the screen share as the smaller PIP screen instead of the webcam video? Been playing around with it and can't get it to work. Also, is it possible to do a screen share over a video (again PIP)?

Can I check please, are some of these things not available in the trial? I am trying to share my screen and although it brings up my screen I cannot then click on anything and show anything. It literally is just the desktop picture and a cursor. I can't do anything within it. I don't have for example the goole option to go online in a browser.

I am looking for advice on lighting and distance. I am using a green screen with ecamm. The edges are not clear. At the bottom of the screen, the picture fades. what can I do better?

1. make sure your green screen is evenly lit and 2. put some distance between you and the green screen so your shadow wont cast on the green screen

Screen sharing, app window sharing, and Keynote/PP sharing are 3 great reasons to stop using eCamm and go with some other live streaming software (e.g., Wirestream or OBS).
