Ecclesiastes Cafe, the 1st Health Cafe with a twist in Kolkata, West Bengal maintaining the taste and authenticity of the vivid food products that we serve to the people of West Bengal in biodegradable food boxes, bursting the myth that healthy food means dosing yourself with vegetables, salads and the like.
* Why the 1st Health Cafe in Kolkata, West Bengal, you must be wondering and how is it different from the rest ? *
We surveyed among all our In-Patients and Out-Patients at Genesis Hospital as to what according to them is good quality, tasty and healthy food?
Unanimously everyone said, since you'll are into Healthcare, whatever you'll provide will be the best for the patients. It then dawned upon us that we have a responsibility to fulfill and to do something for the people who trust us and have faith in our services.
We immediately decided to take on the gauntlet of providing healthy, tasty, nutritious and calorie counted good quality, healthy food to our In-Patients and Out-Patients at Genesis Hospital and also started providing the best quality food to the mass from our Cafe (Ecclesiastes Cafe)
We launched our Ecclesiastes Cafe on the 03rd October, 2021 (Sunday) where we have integrated each and every dish with a social aspect i.e. each time you buy a food item from our Cafe, one tiger victim family and one underprivileged child in Sundarbans gets an eco-friendly Ration packet along with quality education from our charitable trust known as Genesis Educational and Charitable Trust (GECT).
We have introduced for the first time the concept of an In-house Dietitians within a Cafe, who have calculated the dietary aspects of all our food items maintaining the protein, fat, carbohydrates and energy content of each and every food item that is being served at the Cafe.
The Dietitians also do the dietary consultations, customised diet charts, regular checking of height and weight for our customers who are interested in a healthy and dietary consultation at the Cafe.
The phlebotomist at the Cafe collects the blood samples and other test samples and provides the test reports within 12 - 24 hours from Genesis Hospital, Kasba, Kolkata. If any person requires any kind of assessments or medical or surgical support we provide the same from our hospital too.
The interiors and ambience of the Cafe are designed with the "GO GREEN" theme conceptualized in line with the lush green forest of Sundarbans depicting through a wall painting the importance of Saving the Royal Bengal Tigers as well as helping and saving the tiger victim families of Sundarbans. The indoor plants keeps the oxygen level high and positivity in abundance with beautiful aquariums, a source of stress-buster required in today's day and age.
