@@ECD so i dont know if this happens to anyone else but sometimes if my head has been on the shaft for a long time, it is hard to get it off. So maybe a way to get the head of without pulling it back and forth and ruining it slightly.🤙🏽

oh thank you but I don’t need it anymore I just asked because I was stringing a dna and I was wondering what tutorial to use but I ended up using the mid high tutorial for the rebel D and it worked fine thanks though

Could you do one about unwraping a head or breaking in a fogo head

Once a head is warped there is only so much you can do to prolong the life. Some people will boil it and place it on a jug to make it wider but that is only a temporary fix. For breaking in a fogo head Greg Gurenlian might be the man for that job!

Use a blow dryer

Sometimes a blow dryer will work but you might not want to force a head on.

Those screws are easily found at hardware stores. Personally i ditch the self taping screws because they mess up the shafts pretty bad

True self tapping is not necessary if there is already a hole. They are just #8 so you can find them there

My shaft broke on both sides from the screw. ECD 2.0 long stick w/ DNA head. Disappointing. Had a shaft insert too.

You can try to use a blow dryer or even boiling a pot of water to help loosen the glue that holds them in place.

That will help but really just the first few times you take a screw in our out
