Brought a Citizen Eco-Drive in 2000, used to put it in the sunny window a few time per month just to make sure it was always as charged as possible, thank you for chowing this, getting this right now

It's down to $14 as of yesterday. I got a couple solar watches, one Citizen and just got me a Protrek. Was considering this or the Coolfire.

I just use my little uv flashlight. It works ok, too

It almost sounds like an oxymoron. Solar watch charger. They should just make solar watches that can also charge using any standard charger.

i get it, but i guess there are instances that you would need to charge the watch. But it is for a very specific audience.

Save your money and use the sun, even on a cloudy day, it still free. If you do live in a dark cave or mine shaft, a plant grow light will provide the UV needed to keep your solar watches charged and powered.
