Holy shit Omori is one of the most terrifying games I've ever played and this map really just goes through the story in such a charming way - I love how the story flows, like how it transitions from the Basil fight scene to the stair scene, and every part is really well executed!! I was especially blown away by 1:08, 1:28 and 3:47 though trying to pick favorite parts from this project feels a little contrived :'D Seriously just. chef's kiss

Holy shit the transitions between scenes was absolutely gorgeous. Omori pulling Sunny into White Space and changing "into" Omori, everyone flashing between their dream and real selves, the fucking amazing transition of Sunny pushing Basil to him pushing Mari oh my god. This is a beautiful map you all did awesome on this.

I ALMOST MISSED THE PREMIERE BUT I MADE IT 3 MINUTES IN!!! THANK GOODNESS!!! anyway i just finished watching this for the first time and i am BLOWN AWAY OH MY GOSH. i don’t think i could ever possibly describe how much art/animation and this game mean to me. i see myself in all of the characters and it’s such a huge comfort to me im honestly at a loss for words for how to describe this, so i’ll try to get it across by listing my favorite parts: • 0:49 that part got me SO bad the first time i played, i was terrified and i ran straight back to bed to get back to the nice and cute stuff. you captured that moment _perfectly._ i love the transition from mari smiling at you, to hellmari screaming • 1:06 this is honestly the most powerful moment in the map imo. omori breaking through the mirror (where sunny usually hallucinates his traumademons coming after him) and holding sunny’s hands and taking him back to headspace, and headspace’s sky being reflected in sunny’s eyes,,,, GOSH this moment is so pretty, and it’s representative of sunny using omori & headspace as a crutch every time he was reminded of what he did • 1:20 i love how much personality mewo has in this map!!! she’s so cute 🥺 • 1:30 this entire segment with the headspace versions of sunny’s friends flickering into their real selves is SO GOOD!!!! especially basil’s (1:45), it’s so creepy and well-tweened and it sums up basil’s entire character in only around 10 seconds • 2:00 this entire part is so good!!!! not only do i love the style, i love how each character enters (especially aubrey!! the way it doesn’t show her face when she appears explains her complicated relationship with the others _so well._) • 2:05 this part was actually the one that led me to discover this map before it was finished, i love the transitions (especially the one at the very end with the lightbulb) and tweening!!!! • 2:11 this style is so charming!!! i love the expressions/stylization, and how omori isn’t entirely expressionless here, like in-game. he’s scared, because he knows sunny is about to get too close to the truth again • 2:39-2:53 this entire segment captures black space SO WELL!!!! ive always been curious to see how other artists interpret black space since it’s meant to be a fourth-wall break that references broken rpgmaker maps. the animators here mixed the 2d art style & pixelly rpgmaker style perfectly!!! • 3:00-3:26 this is honestly the best rendition of sunny and basil’s fight that i’ve ever seen!!!! basil looks genuinely heartbroken. it’s a really tricky scene to get right, but all of the animators for this bit got it perfect!!!! i especially love how intense basil stabbing sunny’s eye out (3:20) is, and how it’s painted as basil lashing out in rage bc sunny won’t let him get the monster out of him. and sunny pushing basil away transitioning to him pushing mari is SUCH a genius move • 3:28 mari looks so genuinely terrified and heartbroken here,,, MY HEART CANT TAKE THIS • 3:33 omori changing from a human to an overly-simplified version of one is SUCH A SMART IDEA im losing it over how good this part is. it really helps communicate that omori isn’t real and he was just made as a coping mechanism • 3:41 I AM LOSING MY MARBLES OVER THIS ENTIRE PART OHHH MY GOSH. MAN • 3:48 sunny’s tears are animated so well!!!! the spin is SO WELL DONE AND FLUID and i love the little shine on the tear that drops on his violin • 3:55 MY HEART CANT TAKE THIS AAAAAA HOW COULD YOU 😭 the way sunny cries looks so real and he looks so genuinely heartbroken and guilty. and everyone smiling and hugging him (including mari) and the way sunny cries and laughs out of joy singlehandedly ko’d me • i also adore mewo in the credits!!!! she’s so sweet i will hold her gently like hamburger every single animator who worked on this is so incredibly skilled!!!! i may be a stranger on the internet, but im proud of all of you!!! 🎉

EVERYONE’S PARTS WERE SO NICELY TRANSITIONED TOGETHER even the style changes didn’t seem confusing at all AHHHH I WAS HOLDING MY BREATH THE ENTIRE TIME WATCHING THIS I teared up a little at the headspace still scenes, everyone seriously pulled through on that part!!! The black space scenes had that floaty airy horrifying sort of vibe Gato and h really have complimentary styles and parts I can’t stop watching those two parts! Wow, this is definitely one of the greatest animations of Omori fandom! Even being desensitized to the events of the game long ago, I still got chills watching this. Everyone in the team was really skilled. The poses, art, camera angles, transitions and animation in general were on another level! I wish someday I'll get good enough at animation to take part in a event like this. But anyway well done everyone! :)

Yoooooo this is awesome! I can't decide which I like more: The crazy animation of the second half is amazing, from the Faraway Town compilation showing each of the friends, the fall into Blackspace having them suddenly yanked away and the cool floaty effect, the amazingly well done compilation of Blackspace ("an ugly Black" you could say, heh), the push in the Basil fight transitioning to Mari being pushed, and the anime as hell Omori fight. Yet I'm in love with the extremely clever symbolism of the first half, with lyrics like "How long have I been up?" showing Sunny thinking he's waking up in the morning before it's suddenly the middle of the night and he's facing his fears, or "Why can't I see the colors that you see?" showing Mari first as a black and white ghost before the Headspace hallucinations appear showing Sunny things in full "color" again, "my enemy's invisible" showing Mari transform into Something (accompanied by some also awesome animation with the HellMari jumpscare and holy crap Something in the Dark was terrifying), to of course the "Echo in the mirror" is Omori. Even from the very start of the song having the images of the Headspace adventures being on the truth sequence TVs was a perfect choice for a song like Echo! Awesome job to everyone involved!
