WOW, I currently climb with a Homelite Super Wiz66, and it's a bit hard to use with one hand now that I'm 84 (the oiler and all). Besides, I don't want to drop the Homelite, it might put a hole in the ground. Thanks for the video.

My goodness at 84, you deserve “climber and chief” status. I’ll concede to your brutal honesty. I’m 64 in somewhat good shape, but absolutely no tree climbing experience - I’m considering buying one of these lightweight beasts and going for it. I can do anything with “KZbin” instructions, right?

I love my old reliable cs-355t and I've been wanting the 2511t for a while but i think I'd rather wait for this thing if the price is reasonable. I'm looking forward to rocking that light weight, quiet, and reliability that echo is known for. I just hope the batteries would last more than a yr or 2 without needing replaced. Why not add a solar panel to those batteries to charge while in the sun working?

Ok got it. Took down and diced a 10 m fir on two batteries. One thing I love is the fact it's got 2 chain brakes the on off switch is perfect for securing the saw safely one handed while climbing. The down side..if you're out in the boonies you need a power source to charge the 2nd battery while you're using the 1st. 2nd prob if you put a hot battery in the charger it won't charge it until it cools down. :( But otherwise I love it, so handy, clean, no noise, not a hope I'd reach for a petrol saw again.

How long does the battery last compared to other battery powered saws and compared to a tank of gas on a 200t?
@happycamper6352
@happycamper6352 3 жыл бұрын
I haven't found a battery saw that can stand up to a 200T, but they're still great to use due to not wasting gas during idling, less weight, no pull string when in an awkward position in a tree, quiet between cuts for easy communication if you don't have insanely expensive bluetooth gear, etc. I personally love the 201T, but I'm warming up to battery saws for the aforementioned reasons.

Love this review. What batteries can you use? How many Wh? How much time it needs to full charge? How much time it last? If you compare with the gas chainsaw wich one last longer with one tank? The charger is 110/220? What about the chain is 1/4?

the 2511t is good with the stihl 1/4 bar and chain and muffler mod...with standard setup it's not great. The weird thing to me about the battery echo is how boxy and plasticy it looks... so chunky, what goes on in that boxy space? I tried the husky battery saw but went back to my MS 150 as it was lighter and better. If the battery echo can be modded as the 2511t has been...AND preform as well, then that would be the icing on the cake...the US market wants to know
