Amazing. Looking to purchase this attachment. Seems strong enough for the home owners yard. I think it's a perfect investment. Thanks for creating this video review...

I have the PAS225 power head with the string trimmer, hedge clipper and blower. The three attachments have outlived the powerhead. It was always pretty unreliable after the first season of light use in a residential homeowner application and now it's done. Or I'm done with it. I'm going to have to give Echo the benefit of the doubt because they have a pretty strong reputation so I'm going to upgrade to the 26cc model and see how well that works out. Why would I do that if the first one was giving me such grief? Well, let me answer that question with a question.Have you looked at the present day options? Of course Red and Yellow/Black are offering some interesting alternatives to 2-stroke gas with their batteries and have some great power - but you have to upgrade your batteries AND CHARGERS to the High Output models because the standard batteries only last a few minutes and the standard chargers take hours to charge the high amp/hour batteries that you need to power these beasts. The cost to replace my existing system with the Red system would be much higher that to just upgrade the current PAS225 that I have to the 2620, and I can do far more work on one tank of fuel than I could with even the mighty M18 Fuel 12.0 High Output battery (even if I could get my hands on one now). Basically, you are buying a battery system with tool attachments when you buy into this. I will say that there are definite advantages to the system though, like drastically lower noise level, no fumes, convenient, light. Even with those serious considerations though, I want to get the job done as quickly as possible and the Echo blower definitely provides enough power to move the soppy wet leaves, damp dirt, clean out cracks and crevices and eavestroughs. Having multiple motors is not really an option for me so the string trimmer and hedge clipper are necessary and I would like to get a couple of other attachments once I get the new 2620, like the paddle sweeper and edger.

Maybe you got a dud. Mine is still going strong after years of use. I do hedges, weed eat/edge and blow with mine. Hopefully your new one will do better.
