On the carbs with the cover on the carb adjustment, I take the little screwdriver, heat it with a torch, stick it in the plastic, twist and pull and it's out quick and easy

Without a tach adjust CCW (rich) until it 4-strokes (burbles) then a 1/4 turn CW (lean) should be safe. I prefer a tach because I have one! I should do a video on ear tuning against a tach!

I made that mistake ONCE, on a cheap hand held blower I had. Never again. I use the factory rpm limits for low and high speed and my trusty DTI Tachometer. It’s great for lawnmowers too as many either over rev or under rev.

i just bought one of these and it runs great, starts with 2 pulls every time, I use non eth gas with echo red armor oil mix ....dirty air filter- fuel filter- spark arrestor- worn out plug will cause almost same issue so I check those first

Heat up a small screw driver tip red hot then stab it , then use the Echo small D screwdriver

Go just a little past the "happy medium". That will provide a very barely minimum richer fuel mix but will ensure that the lubricant mixed in gas is never short.

You rock brother. I have an echo pb580t, and have an issue. Works well, but after running it through 1 tank of mixed gas will not start. Have a new carb I'll install, and will check resistance on coil. Was told that if blower won't start after running, and hot, it might be the coil. Machine is less than one year old. Any comments would be welcome.

You will need a steady hand and a dremel to cut a slit into the jet so it can accept a flat head screw driver. Good luck!

How old is it? Commercially used and abused? Pull the muffler and see if the piston is scored…if it is time for a rebuild. If not…open up the air filter housing and squirt some starting fluid in it. If it fires right away time for a complete tune up. Problem still persists new carb

are the carbs rebuildable or cleanable like snowblower carbs with the float? im having similar issues with same 755st starts and idles fine and blows good for a while but after maybe 30m or blowing starts bogging down at full throttle if turn it off let it sit for 5 m it will work good then start doing it again you think this is the fuel tank filter?

@@robre6840 ok echo has a thing called a “repower kit”. Involves air filter, spark plug, fuel lines, tank grommet and fuel filter. As soon as it dies...have you checked for spark? Could be the coil getting hot. Once it cools down...good to go.

Hi I got trrimmer with too high idle (as if I give throttle). Sort of wont fall back to normal idle. When I give throttle it bogs down. And power no good. High idle makes tread-head turn very fast but if I try to cut grass it has no punch. ANY HELP is appreciated!! If the carb screw is the issue - WHY? In fall I used it NO PROBLEM. Now its acting up. So strange...

Are you on Instagram? You have a few issues going on at the same time. Adjust the H set screw so it doesn’t bog when hit the the throttle. Once you fix that. Desert the idle using the screw and go from there

Tundra Guy, I find it very odd you have to replace the carb already. What are you issues that lead to replacement and not adjustment? You changing out your fuel filters as well?
