I just picked on up and it seems to vibrate your back when you accelerate the throttle? Is this something that goes away when it is broken in more over time?

Different areas different prices. U sure the stop switch ain’t on. Echos one of the best brands u can get sounds weird.

There both top of the line. Echo - Stihl - Redmax are the top brands out there.

But there is one that is better than all those: Shindaiwa. A friend of mine, a 30ish years experienced and professional landscaping guy told me about that brand and how good it is.
