Good stuff. I dropped the buss idea mostly because I flew out on an explore. I decided to go ahead and put down water purifiers and analysis radars and run power around just to have that done. And in the process found lots more nodes, then LOTS more nodes. I am currently thinking how best to go about things but right now my thoughts are to just automate everything by doing them in turn, using whatever location I am in for the next items then moving to the next zone. I worked back to that starting area to set up computers and circuit boards. One more thing there but can't recall what. I am going to save that one multi node area for the last items. That way if there is anything I have missed I can build for that there but maybe not totally clutter it. And there is at least 1 other zone with as many or maybe more nodes so I might save one of those for late game, build an awesome looking factory, raised platforms and walled enclosures. Just to get it looking sharp as possible. I doubt I can finish that before the next world releases but that might be a goal at some point. Good looking buildings could be cool.

That is a very good way to do it. I need to explore what can be done with the platforms and other base components.

They fixed the belts directional issue at least for the applications I used them for. It should be like the pipes now and depending if you are connecting to an entrance or an exit it will reflect.

Quantum Processors are the hardest to automate as the resources needed are so far from each other. I have conveyors stretching across 4 islands to make them.

I don't really like doing the hand crafting but for those, I am willing to stand there and be bored. Way to much effort to automate them.

With the materials you have and the production you have I believe you at this moment could turn the whole planet green it's amazing the how well you are doing...I made a continuous pipe around a small lake adding in in pumps and water purifiers and green houses spaced out with grass and tree makers really makes the area nice. not a suggestion. I was just mentioning it.

I believe the three per min had to do with the water purity. As the purity went up, so did the items per minute

Loving this series. My best tip, which you probably know, is to use x to get rid of rocks and unwanted resource nodes as well as buildings. Makes things so much easier to get them out of the way. Dig pits for water hubs, then when you connect, the pipes go underground. Oh yeah, and the steamroller is so much fun for flettening but do watch your oxygen. (I didn't).

Nice build, you are so much further in then I am. I am seeing the major focus for this game is really on automation as the terraforming is done easily with buildings.

Thanks. Yes, it is very much about automation.

There are a number of uranium nodes somewhat near water, I made 4 or 5 and made that a big power station and chained wind turbines in the directions of all bases to put it all in network. Not hard at all.

Composite beams even though I automated them, were a big item needed. I just gave up and made them 30 at a time in queue. I feel only way to compensate is automate more in other spots to keep up.
@surtrplays25 күн бұрын
For me, I just need to many to not automate them.

@@surtrplays yeah I did automate, but still not enough usually. They are slow. Have to automate them several places to keep up i am thinking.

Its fun to watch other people do things their way. I love this game a lot, I am looking forward for more patches/updates. I haven't played in a week and don't have anything to do anymore, it almost makes me want to restart but I can't seem to justify it lol. Biggest thing you are doing different than me is the amount of automating. I automated a lot, but some things I felt aren't used as much so i just automated the components they needed. So if something needed 30 of them I just shift clicked them 30 at a time, which was pretty fast having all components automated. So any new spot i went to, i would make a habitat, workstation and assembler, and can make EVERYTHING from there I could need. You are also alot neater than me when I built lol
@surtrplays25 күн бұрын
Oh no, I like to automate. Go on restart. Just do it.
@SooshiYum25 күн бұрын
@@surtrplays yeah I thought about it lol, There is only a few items I want to automate that I didn't but it was just easier not to I guess. Maybe I will need them for future updates. I though about trying to ocean planet one, to "play again". I will consider it.

Plenty of phospurs in that area of the map and only limited graphite. It would be nice if there were some coal nodes to balance out the lack of graphite

Don’t think there is a correct way you have to build the conveyor belts since the direction of travel is dictated by the input and output. So you can build from the warehouse back to the machine crafting the components if that makes it easier to get the belts looking neat and tidy. There are some later components that are very hard to automate the need so many resources which can be tricky to find reasonable distances away from each other but the good thing is that you don’t need many so can craft them as needed.
@surtrplays25 күн бұрын
Yeah, those later items are just not worth the effort to automate.
