You look amazing, and your enthusiasm is energising. My bubba arrived last Wednesday the 17th when I was 39+1 weeks on the 17th after a 24 hour induction, then a 15 hour labour which ended in a Caesarean section. 7 pounds and 7 ounces and 52 cm long ❤️

So excited things are going well! I'm not sure your birth plan, but I wanted to give a positive story about induction because I feel like all anyone hears is negative -- and it makes people scared and averse to it, which is frustrating. I had severe preeclampsia and had to deliver at 36 weeks 4 days. I was induced that day using a foley catheter and pitocin. I opted to have the epidural from the jump and the whole process was so smooth and I was so happy with it. My labor was 10 hours start to finish, from the time the foley catheter was inserted until my daughter was born. I didn't feel pain with my contractions until my water broke, and 2.5 hours after my water broke she was out vaginally. Honestly, if I am ever lucky enough to be able to get pregnant again, I want to be induced! There was no wondering if I needed to go to the hospital, no hours of pain, I was so supported in the hospital and loved it. Amazing, a positive induction story!
