Where did you get the trimmer handle, I want one. Another use for the .105 line is in the business of trimming around monuments in the cemetary.

Good video. I just picked up an Echo Speed Feed 400 for my Stihl KM130R. I’m keeping the Stihl Autocut with .105 line and using .095 line in the Speed Feed. That way, if I’m just trimming grass, I’ll use the Speed Feed. If I’m going full Rambo on 2 ft high grass/weeds, I’ll put the Autocut back on.

That's cool, Glad you like the speedfeed head. I will say that you can run .105 in it too. We ran some last season but my son and I decided to go back with the .095 black diamond.

Yeah, I’m going to stick with .095 in this head. Picked up a 280 ft roll of Echo Crossfire line as they had no .095 black diamond in stock. That Crossfire line sure is noisy though…

I have a Redmax weed eater and it sucks loading the line. I’ll have to look into this. If you get an edger make sure to get a straight shaft Stihl. Mine is about 15 years old and I’ve used it up to 30x per day

What if the line breaks flush? How easy is it to retrieve the line?
@minthillbilly Жыл бұрын
You grab the other end with a pair of needle nose pliers and pull it through. I always push about 1/4 inch past the other side so I will have something to grab with the pliers.

Disregard my last comment. I thought this was the rapid loader video. In response to your question. On the speed feed head you will have to unsnap the cover and remove all the line. Then snap the cover back on . Twist to the correct position to load and wind it up.

Thanx. Hillbilly. IMy 1st weed eater was a CRAFTSMAN with a quick loader head from SEARS. THERE WAS NO REWINDING, NO BUMPING. TRIM LINES WERE SOLD IN PACKAGES WITH INDIVUALLY CUT TRIMMER LINES. THEY WERE MUCH EASIER TO FEED THROUGH. I EVEN OWN A BLACK & DECKER LAWN EDGER. I bought it from BRAND NAMES STORE. EVERY COMPANY MAKES TRASH THROW AWAY JUNK THESE DAYS.
