You always have to adjust the high and low throttle adjusters after carb replacement. That will tune that roughness out of it so you can tweak the idle last.

Thank you for posting this video! I have the same trimmer and went through pretty much the same steps. It sounds like I got mine to about the same condition as yours. When cold it will start up with one choked pull and one normal pull with full throttle. It will run OK for a while, gradually running better as it warms up, and it will run pretty decent for about 5-10 minutes, but once it gets warmed up it will kick over when restarting it, but it immediately dies. In general it sounds like it's not getting to full speed/rpm even with full throttle. I *think* it might be fuel starved, but I replaced the carb and fuel bits same as you. If you had more time than sense like me, how would you troubleshoot this? How would you address the compression? Thanks again for the video. It's always great when you find someone online dealing with the same issue as you!

I did not get into the compression much on the video as I recall but if you have checked for compression and it is below 75PSI It probably has a scored cylinder and if that is the case it is not probably worth fixing. If you can look at the cylinder walls through the muffler or the plug you might be able to see if there is a scar on it. Other than that I have been known to get a bad carburator from the store if it is not an OEM part. This just depends how much money you want to put into it before you give up.
