+mikayla mesko I think Dolphin Days is more appropriate to SeaWorld San Diego and I also like that there is more flexibility in choreography, meaning more novel behaviors!

+Hayley E.F. Leather In truth, that's Blue Horizons on paper, but reality is much different. Personal experience, I've seen quite a few dolphin shows over the many years, in person and whole shows that have been recorded. Blue Horizons had so much potential and they hyped the show a lot prior to its start date at SWC. And even though SWF had had the shows for years, with each show being pretty similar as the last, I and many others, had hoped for the best. At first Blue Horizons was pretty cookie cutter, then they started to deviate and there was some pretty cool things that were seen. However many novel things were lost between Dolphin Discovery (and even Ignite) and Blue Horizons. Even behaviors they trained prior to Blue Horizons starting never made it into the show. It wasn't long before the shows became repetitive and boring. Then behaviors and other neat things started to disappear and never made appearances in Blue Horizons again. When Dolphin Island Christmas started all the neat and novel behaviors came back. More was seen in the short run of Dolphin Island Christmas in years prior with Blue Horizons. Then with the new year the ratings for Blue Horizons ratings were worse than before and continued to be lower once Dolphin Days was introduced. It was obvious which show was inferior. SWC has to deal with rewatch factor that SWF doesn't. The returning guests had spoken, they were tired of Blue Horizons. Dolphin Island Christmas and Dolphin Days has, is, and could do all the behaviors that Blue Horizons did and many more that it could never do, so that isn't even a factor here. Personally Blue Horizons was a theatrical performance and while it's great, it's not what SeaWorld should focus on. Making the animals the stars is what it should be, and Dolphin Days does that. I feel like Dolphin Days is a more modern version of Dolphin Discovery and that show didn't run for 14 years for no reason.
