Better to do this as a group of 4 (Just like Farming, Stay close together but apart... and pick up each other kills) , it counts for everyone as long as you are close enough... just like farming 4 corners Library. I was 5/5 Rifts clearing all 4 bosses each time this way. When you open rift : it will be solo Kill for each person // then you move to next pillar area . Legendary: 18 Essense Yellow: 12 Essense Blue: 6 Essense Common: 2 Essenses Mazerin805

Rifts open on the hour or half-hour, eg 8am, 8:30 am, 9am and so on, and last for 13 minutes. Not like Nizza's shop times. Fragment drop rate has been fixed now, also it is good to in a group as the drops are shared. It is also best to collect 800 fragments first then open your four spires. Loot for me has been disappointing. Most of them just had one new magic affix with no other affixes.

ECHO, if you are in town, you get a message in your quest log area telling you the Rift opens in 3 min, 2, min, 1 min, and Start. The Rift start is at 8am to 2pm and 6pm to 12am every 30 min lasting 13 min. When you first open the Rift window, it tells you this information. You can open your Activity Calendar in game and it shows when the Rifts start.

I have found you can teleport around the map rather than running to red zones. I have noticed the chat will alert when it is going to open. I tap on the location I want to go and it automatically takes me there. I have noticed when I die, I do respawn at the camp, I can tap on the event alert in my quest trackers, and I am teleported back to the rift. I like the terror rifts. I'm saving mine for Inferno 6 and then going to run all of them at that time.

I see you're using the same AOE essences that I've been using on my Crusader. Very nice. Sadly though, I have completed ten Terror Rifts throughout the first week of availability, which includes destroying three to four Stygian Spires each, and I have yet to receive any Eternal gear. (FWIW, after ten Terror Rifts it's a waste of time running any more Rifts because there are no rewards of which I am aware.)

Yesterday killed 3 of 4 in rift, 1 terror essence drop. Used the essence to open a tower, kill the boss and no chest, just a few mat drops. Complete waste of time, not doing them anymore.

To answer your question from a different video. The glitch item you found was from the terror rift. It’s the new items that drop and you can only farm them by doing those rift runs. Also not all chest drop a legendary after defeating a boss. Also the enemies don’t bother with orange if you’re not a high damage dealer. Blues drop 6 per blue monster and spawn in 3 so that’s gets you 18. So fighting an orange will slow you down for the same amount as three blues.

As of now, you just have to damage the enemies to get the Stygian fragments. Note beneficial in my experience to be in a party as you don’t collect as a party. The 200 fragments needed is an individual target. I play a crusader and usually clear 3-4 pillars each time.

does the terrer rifts depend on what inferno level your at or if your at like inferno 6 and you switch to like inferno 3 would it be easier. Also what kind of strength or intelligence would you need to acually do good each time i do it i pretty much die almost right away and i dont get why it is so hard

I need the terror rifts to show towers when I open the map. It doesn't show me, and it's a complete guessing game. It chews up too much time to run every inch of the map to find the tower.

I finished a 4th one with 5 seconds left one run lol. Dh shadow sight works really well for this, and being in a party of 4 works really well since they hotfixed it. Happy hunting

I hav a same issue but I combat it with the kitty at and 5 hit armour up necro. I load in really slowly but kitty kat called colin saves me.

I'm running sader solo.. every rift I collect 1200+ fragments which means I could destroy 6 spires, but most you can do is 4 :(

I have completed several (Inferno VI) Terror RIfts, frequently taking down four Spires each, and far more often than not, have received squat. I easily complete ten Rifts per week with little more to show for it other than one, maybe two,, Eternal Legendaries and Terror Essences!? Horrible! And, in hope that it helps, I am using my Treasure Hunter Paragon without success. Currently, Terror Rifts are horribly broken. The buff to demon generation is far from sufficient. Terror Rifts are in need of a serious fix. Even the Hellslayer Bounties need improvement. Very poorly executed event.😡

If you never claim the tokens, you get legendaries and rewards in your mailbox without (I think) wasting any of your 10 attempts. I'm pretty sure that's what happened with me. Maybe others can test it.

Old news . How do you not know they open on the hour or half. Also the tag thing is gone , as long as you hit a mob you wil get fragments No need to spread out. The content creators are lacking on this.
