scratch devs add warnings and optional jumpscares to their scratch games because fnaf games are considered too violent for their community guidelines or whatever, that’s also why searching “fnaf” in scratch’s search bar comes up with nothing

Oh man I remember looking it up at some point and getting nothing despite remembering I had played a (rather clunky) Scratch port of FNAF 2 I thought for the longest time it was Scott seeing stuff like that and getting it pulled down since it was just straight-up all the assets from the official games (That probably did contribute somewhat realistically but still)

this is one of the reasons I use websites like turbo warp, and don't post them to scratch, but on other things like itch or game jolt scratch projects get deleted easily which is also why a lot of people have a message in their games saying "please don't report"

Post shift 2 had so much potential. Art and animation wise, the creator is extremely talented at what he does. The models in that game are honestly some of the greatest I’ve ever seen in any FNAF game ever. But the gameplay was just too buggy and complex.

About the Forgotten Memories: I love this game. The effort the devs put into it is amazing, but everytime I try to fix something, the animatronics camp so hard... also, once they see you it's almost impossible to escape. There's also the low time to repair the stuff, also it's really goofy when everyone is dead but we still win because it didn't have time for the game over ends the game. That's the stuff that makes the game unperfect... but hey, it's still an amazing game, even more for Roblox

I have to disagree with the idea of "Don't say a game is bad unless you've made one yourself." That's a pretty poor argument that seems to ignore that critique is important. Especially in Post-Shift 2's case. It might've looked okay (I wasn't fond of the animatronic designs, but the animations were clean) and sounded good, but the gameplay was fundamentally flawed. There was just way too much going on gameplay-wise and it was all introduced through overcomplicated textboxes. That's the sort of major flaw that a game creator needs to be told is a problem so that they can figure out how to correct it in upcoming games. I do hope they make more games in the future and can use what they learned in the development of Post-Shift to move onward. Personally, I would be hard pressed to make a Fnaf fangame when so many good ones get buried by an amount of spam on websites like Gamejolt. :/ Sometimes you'll go through three or four pages before finding one really good game that just got missed because it released at a bad time.

Oh, are you referencing when I said: "so before you send hate to him, why one don’t you try fan game yourself"? that was meant to serve as a transition to the roblox games, ofc you don't need to be a chef to tell someone that your food tastes bad. looking back, should of made that more clear lmao. its really hard to find any games on gamejolt yeah, its all buried under the big names. The only chance fan game creators really have is to somehow get a big youtuber like Dawko to showcase and play their game, which leaves so many hidden gems :(

Scratch banned jump scares because kids were playing games has screamers hidden in them, and it got so bad that kids were straight up afraid to use the website. So now whenever you make a game that has jump scares, like the ones in FNaF, you have to put a warning and in most cases, add in a toggle that can disable them all together.

It’s a real fangame with well thought out mechanics, and the issues he talked about aren’t actually that bad when you realize that you’re supposed to have a squad of 4 doing this, safeguarding each area, keeping eyes on the animatronics. It also has a full custom night.

​@@ajcon3874The mechanics aren't well thought out at fucking all, all you have to do to beat the maxmode is sometimes look up for puppet, camp oxygen till it resets and then camp generators. Plus the game is a one time thing before it gets repetitive while TPRR is community content mostly. I don't engage in any roleplay in TPRR, rather I play UCN types (where you read people's mechanics, pick whoever you want and defend from them)

I wish people would talk about the roblox fnaf fangames that aren't the free roam titles, if you want to find any of them just search "five night's at", there are some really good fangames that don't end up being talked about, such as: "Five Night's at Marcus 1 Remastered", "Five Night's at Stinky's 3", "Some Nights At The Arcade", "Those Night's At Portal's 2", "Endless Night's At J's" and many others.

fnaf coop has a game breaking glitch in it. (which btw is a roblox game) all you need is 1 other person. if one of you justs goes as far as they can in a corner of some kind. if a animatronic comes and tries killing you. it will jumpscare you but you will stay on the static screen. what happens is the animatronic just keeps running into the corner so the whole game just becomes easy
