I don’t know that this song is about Christians being hypocrites though. You very well could be right. It can go either way, but that is what's fun about music: you are impacted as an individual, and though you are permitted and capable of sharing that, it is by no means the only valid view. Obviously, this doesn't apply to all songs, but that should be a given. Still though, I'll be damned if Echos hasn't impacted by religious view more than once.

I'm addicted to the first couple of notes in the song before the vocals start. I don't know why, but I was really into this song around two years ago (when I was kind of in a bad place with just life in general), and those notes have just... stuck with me since then. I heard a similar series of notes in the background of something a couple minutes ago, and I was hit with a pang of familiarity. I then looked up the song because I knew exactly which song it reminded me of. Thank you Sheepy for posting this masterpiece. Also thank you Echos for making this beauty. I can perfectly relate to this song. It basicly describes the situation between my best friend and I as his ungreatfulness and egocentrical behaviour fucks up all the emotional bonds that he had made with others, especialy with me. I've done everything to him that I could and I got no appreciation from him he takes me for granted and knows that he is important for me. While he insist me to change things that he doesn't like about me , he also denies every existing flaws of him and keep saying that people should accept him while he can't accept anybody the way he is.
