Echotone was the Best little sound anywhere. A lot of DJs attended his dance, stole his lyrics and took them uptown so a lot of people thought these DJs were the originals until he joined Stereophonic after the departure of Welton Irie. Welton along with Lone Ranger, Ringo and Tappa Zukie all use Echo's lyrics. Echo was very humble and avoided playing in certain areas because politics was influencing people to fight against others from a different zone. I got him out in areas he was scared to go as he was trying to avoid being killed by a political bullet. Look how he died anyway. R.I.P. my Brother. Thanks for the post, it proves that he was an original. The one and only General Echo who took Stereophonic to higher heights. Didn't get his due, gone too soon.
