ECHT - Fort Von Mir 2024 (Live One Take)

Angetrieben von der Doku, habe ich dieses Mal ein Lied der Band ECHT gecovert. Dieses Stück habe ich das erste Mal vor 24 Jahren gespielt (wie die Zeit rennt...). Dass mich die Band ECHT musikalisch stark beeinflusst hat, würde man bei mir auf den ersten Blick vermutlich nicht erwarten. Warum ECHT als Teenie-Band oder Boyband vermarktet wurden, habe ich nie verstanden. Um die Band tummelten sich erfolgreiche Produzenten wie Franz Plasa, der auch für erfolgreiche Deutschrock Bands wie Selig arbeitete. Es war gut gemachte Musik, die von talentierten Musikern gespielt wurde. Viele Songs und Lyrics sind mir noch so geläufig, dass ich vermutlich lediglich einen Abend Vorbereitungszeit benötigen würde, um mich mit den Jungs auf die Bühne stellen zu können. Es wäre so geil, würde die Band sich nochmal für eine Tour zusammenfinden, findet ihr nicht?
Inspired by the documentary I decided to cover a song by the band ECHT. By the way, I played this song for the first time 24 years ago (time is running fast). You probably wouldn't expect a band like ECHT to have had such a strong musical impact on a guy like me. I never understood why ECHT were labeled as a teen / boy band. The band worked with famous producers like Franz Plasa who also worked for German rock bands like SELIG. It was well composed music, played by talented musicians. Many of the songs and lyrics are still so familiar to me that I would probably only need an evening of preparation to get up on stage and play with the guys. I hope they will reunite for a tour. That would be insane!

Weiß noch wie ich für ein halbes Jahr mal inner Ska Punk Band gespielt hab, da haben wir "Junimond" gecovert😂 aber das Original is ja von Rio Reiser, wobei ich find, dass die Version von Echt ein bisi mehr ins Ohr geht. Wahrscheinlich auch bessere Produktion und Kim Frank hat ja auch wirklich ne richtig gute Gesangsstimme..

Yeah geil! Die Produktion des Songs in der Version von Echt ist klar der Sieger. Ich finde auch, dass Kim als Sänger nie genügend Beachtung seiner gesanglichen Leistung erfahren hat. ✌️❤️
