Suffering led me to spiritually awakening. I find it amazing how much suffering it took to get there. Decades of immense suffering...mostly from my own ego mind. Ever since reading the Power of Now about a year ago and applying the techniques that Eckhart taught in his book my mental state has markedly changed for the better. My ego mind tells me it is a tragedy that I discovered it so late in life, after I had already destroyed any future I might have had if I had not been lost in my ego mind suffering. But I also know that what is, simply is, and that acceptance, forgiveness to myself, and living in the now is all that really matters. Why surrender the beauty that is now for the pain that was...

It is amazing ! I love how when the thought “you have discovered this too late in your life when there is no future for you anymore” appeared, you spot that and recognized it as the mind trying to trick you again coming from the back door 😄 I relate to this as similar tricky patterns operate in me as well, but are recognized and cannot take control :) Also remember that there was never any future anyways… there is just now, thats is.

This quote by Carl Jung emphasizes the importance of self-reflection and introspection for gaining clarity and understanding. Let's break it down: 1. **"Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart."** - This part suggests that true clarity and insight come from introspection, understanding your own desires, values, and emotions. 2. **"Who looks outside, dreams."** - When you focus solely on external factors or what others are doing, your aspirations might remain as dreams or wishes without a deeper understanding of your own motivations. 3. **"Who looks inside, awakes."** - In contrast, by turning your attention inward, examining your thoughts, feelings, and motivations, you achieve a higher level of self-awareness and "awaken" to a clearer vision of your life's purpose and direction. In day-to-day life, this quote encourages individuals to engage in self-discovery, introspection, and mindfulness. It suggests that by understanding your own values and aspirations, you can make more informed decisions, set meaningful goals, and navigate life with greater purpose. It underscores the idea that true clarity comes from within, not just from external influences or societal expectations.

As a tradesman I often have to work outside and I would often check the weather in advance to see if was going to be too hot during summer, or too wet during winter. I was always stressed if it wasn't ideal. How ridiculous this now seems to me. Now I understand what is meant by surrender to what IS. I am now free from complaining or disappointment. In fact I smile now and adapt as best I can to what IS. I have also lost all my anxiety because I now realise how I used to create this state by living in the future and my mind always filled it with problems. It has changed my life so much and everyday I see things more clearly. Yesterday I was starring at some plants in the park because I was struck by something odd. All the plants were exactly the same but one had burst into blossom with many yellow flowers. As I starred at it I was suddenly aware that this plant among many had awakened. It almost brought me to tears. It felt so personal.

Yes. And more than you may realize. From: LIFE AND TEACHING of the MASTERS OF THE FAR EAST, Baird Spalding, 1927. Revised 1964 This is the story of a three-and-one half year research into the teachings of the Great Masters of the Himalayas in 1894, of which Mr. Spalding was a member Vol 3, chapter V, page 47. Jesus explains that when each declares having Christ within, one must accept the fact that one IS the Christ, and IS God: “That one sees the higher body of himself vibrating at a higher rate than does his limited body, that he also sees. These which appear as two, are only an appearance because he does not believe that he is the Christ. Let him declare himself the Christ, and actually accept it as a fact. Let him declare that the Christ of God stands forth, and at that instant, he IS the Christ of God. He then must go forth, direct to God, the Father, and declare definitely, and know positively without fear, that he IS God.” Gospel of John 10:34 “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods” ’ John 1:14 (NIV) “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.” (Neville Goddard says this is a mis-translation. Should be, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling within us.”. The creative power of the Universe dwells WITHIN us ) 2 Corinthians 13:5, “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you.” Galatians 2:20-“It is Christ who lives in me” “I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me; Luke 17:20-21 Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you."

My spiritual awakening started very very slowly, by questioning things over a period of about 20 years. It however didn't become obviously until after the day I found myslef thinking "it would be easier if I just wasn't here any more" and that I should just "unplug" and start again. I started paying a lot more attention to my thoughts after that.

I’m 24, I didn’t realize it until recently, but my awakening began when I was around 5. I was in a certain situation that caused me to face death. Unknowingly at the time, staring into the abyss was the first time I experienced the illusory quality of who I thought I was. Of course I was not able to process any of that at such a young age, so my awakening stayed stagnant for many years. I went though the rest of my life feeling like I was floating, almost constantly dealing with depersonalization and derelization. When I was 18 I was ready to start peering back down into myself, and the process of awakening continued.

I have that too, I sometimes have an overwelming, a very deep feeling of faith, totally game changing. They call it cryes of serenity. I'm really aware of comedy playing of manipulative people, feeling lonely seeing this. I still have ego and anxiety coming back but my body is so much in need of me getting to rest and deepening that and I try to please it. I think I know I'm not my thoughts, but I think it's going to be deeper and I can feel my essence. I feel more and more the inside of my body I felt my heart beating for a few days, that was so beautiful^^ I think you had sort of total mindfulness, it happened to me in my home, like a change of dimension. I wanted it to never stop. I can't imagine when you expérience it in nature. How amazing^^

I think what clicked for me years ago was when you said there was a time that you said to yourself something like I can’t stand to live with myself. Well then that implies that there are two of you. And then you realize that thought is not who you are. It’s just a thought. Who you are, just is. And your thoughts aren’t entirely relevant - how you think of yourself. It’s your story. Your experiences. Your perception. But it’s not the essence of who you are in the stillness between the thoughts. That’s when I learned that the ego is not anything more than Edging God Out!

I have become ‘spiritually awakened’ to Problacism. I have come to realise that what Jesus was telling us: that we live in one conscious, omnipotent and loving universe - is the absolute truth. I know this because I am a 'conduit' for the universe. It continually 'tells' me what it wants me to do and how it wants me to do it, through a continual succession of incredible opportunities and coincidences. I have free will - as we all do - but my main guidance is that I'm not allowed to do anything which might result in my personal gain, recognition or reward, and I must make the most of everything I have and take every opportunity I am given. I must also help anyone if I can - I know the universe has sent them to me and expects me to help them in some way. As you can imagine, this personal relationship is a great joy to me: I totally trust in the universe and I’m totally relentless. I am changing the world for the better in profound ways, but nobody 'sees’ that the universe is doing this through me. So true what you say about babies too - my wife and three adult children have said: 'don't let Dad near a baby - he's so embarrassing!' - they fill me with joy.

For me, I realized exactly like Eckhart said. I was at a low point of my life and on my way back to home when suddenly, I saw a bunch of yellow flowers and a bench on the greenest grass hit by the sun rays. It was a magical experience. Sure the view was beautiful but it was so much more than that! I don't know how much time I spent on the middle of the street looking at that painting-in-real-life. And something shifted that day. I started experiencing this feeling every time I saw a storm, or the sun hitting with a different angle. I never thought something as simple as nature could make me feel this way!

Awakening shows you that you are beyond thoughts feelings perceptions... that all of these appear and disappear in you, YOU AS PURE CONSCIOUSNESS, AWARENESS THAT IS ALWAYS. You see-realize that who/what you really are cannot come and go, cannot die. Feelings of great peace, love, joy, and freedom come. You see that life is not what you thought and neither are you! When you are liberated from the lack and limitation of mind, you live from awareness and are comfortable and confident living from the unknown, this present moment. You are free to be whatever is this moment. You are the formless as well as the fluid form. You ARE the unconditioned Love that you deeply desire. Turn inwards using meditation and Self Inquiry with all the sincerity of your heart...and then you are grace prone to have an awakening. Namaste!

When I was around 16 it happened to me for the first time. Back then I did not know what it was though. I realized that "my thoughts" weren't mine at all and appeared involuntary. Why? As a Pole living in Germany I was subject to a lot of prejudice. Polish jokes were very popular on German television and revolved around Poles being thieves usually. I didn't even watch those comedians who spread such thoughts but many people were repeating them. One day I saw a Pole on the street and thought: "Ah, a Pole - I hope he does not steal my car". Then it occurred to me that I'm a Pole myself and that I don't even have a driver's license let alone a car. Nowadays I know that "my thoughts" are not mine at all and that I just witness them. That was 30 years ago though and I'm still learning to be conscious.

What works for me when feeling down is to remember that God exists, that higher consciousness exists, and my lifework is to become one with it. Or as Einstein puts it - "I want to know the thoughts of God, the rest is just details." Or as Elkhart puts it - "to become spacious." The only drawback is that I cannot share these things with my family, because they will think l am going crazy. I just have this mental picture in my head if my mom or my girlfriend saying - "What do you mean to become spacious?" It always puts a smile on my face, just imagining me coming out about God and consciousness and my whole believe system.

I have felt myself evolving into consciousness from a very early age but did not know how to nurture this experience. These words from you and the comments from other viewers are unlocking doors in my mind with lightning speed. I had thought that I was doing something wrong by having these experiences and ended up imprisoning my own consciousness. But my mind very recently subconsciously reached out to an unlikely individual whom I only speak to via social media and the conversation first awakened my despair and took me on a complete backwards trip through the past...I was in a complete mess and couldn’t understand why out of the blue this person was having such an effect on me....two days ago he shared a story about his life and it somehow served as the key I needed to unlock the door to eventually lead me here. I can see the way much more clearly now and I know now that this was his purpose in my life. The thing is he may not even be aware or even understand what he has done for me. I truly believe that my consciousness sought to free itself and reached out to a kindred spirit it recognized could help me because my physical being could not understand how I ended up having such a conversation with him. All I did was message him to thank him for something and the conversation started from there. 🙏🏼

I am going through the process of spiritual awakening. I am very happy to be on this path. It is a blessing! I want to know why do Human Beings have such strong proclivity to becoming hypnotized by our thinking? I am noticing I become hypnotized and then realize I am in a mental story- fantasy future, past, images, movies- and then become free of it. In the past year and a half and especially the past couple of months, I am finally letting go of mental clutter, and there is a whole lot less thinking in my head (thank God!). But for years, I was living in the mind going from one mental story to another, unaware I was generating thoughts and then believing them. Why is this? Why do we have this? Because now, I am looking around and I can tell people are under the influence of their minds/thoughts all around me. They are running ego modes, most notable rushing and complaining. Now as I finish writing this, I am pondering what is driving me to need to know “why why why?”. 😂 Maybe I don’t need to know why.

We are trained from childhood to use the mind constantly. Not periodically as a tool but at all times. If we're were trained to use it as a tool from childhood and allow the natural consciousness to be our default mode it would be a very different reality. The western ideals enshrine "I think. Therefore I am" and so we are the mind rathern than we have access to a mind.
