I feel so utterly and deeply blessed to receive your teachings Eckhart. I never thought I would be grateful for the pain and loss it took me to understand your teachings, but I am. Deeply grateful. You are awakening me on a level I never thought possible. I mostly just get glimpses, but they are growing in length and it feels like what I’ve been searching for my whole life. It was always there buried under the rubble of conditioning. 🌟🙏🌟

Conceptual thinking is like digging into a rabbit hole only to find nothing. When something is conceptualized, we need more concepts to describe that conceptualized something. And the concepts need more concepts to explain them. In the end, conceptual thinking creates endless number of concepts, which create an illusion of separation.

It's also when life gets too easy, the mind can run amok and create artificial problems that are essentially not real. I remember my whole mental issues were exacerbated when I was happy but I asked myself whether I'm happy enough or could even be happier. This led me down the road of anxiety disorders and depression. Now I'm back to a good level of mental health and overall satisfaction with life. Still my greed for joy and pleasure often has me in a headlock.

This is a greater understanding on life in general. I really like this video because he points out the names of anything in life are almost meaningless. but to truly see without labels the sacredness and Antiquity of any living organism in existence is to truly understand it's nature of existence and how great it is. because we are from nature therefore we can get the knowledge of anything that exist just by spending time to appreciate it.

Ekhart always delivers an invaluable message. For me, however, his best talks center on the actual experience of trying to be and remain present, as well as on the experience of being pulled away from presence. This is the "what" and the "how" of the journey, and I find his teachings that address the direct application of trying to remain present are the most inspiring. I'm not a fan of exploring why presence is necessary. I'm not looking to be convinced that that being present is vital. I would rather like to be supported and encouraged on the path of awakening with his commentary on what is actually encountered on that path.

Knowing: "A vast intelligence that is nonconceptual" Eckhart Tolle To know the forest is to simply experience the forest without conceptual thinking. There is no longer a clear separation between you and the amazing life form of the forest. "What do I really know? Today ask yourself what you really know and distinguish what you know from what you think or hope for yourself or your world, what you are afraid of, what you believe in, what you cherish, and what you value. You must continuously examine whatever answers you give to this question to see if they represent your beliefs or assumptions or the beliefs or assumptions of other people or perhaps even of humanity at large." Knowing is beyond all these answers in the realm of mystery where you go in stillness, not knowing, but listening with your whole being for Knowledge to speak. Steps to Knowledge, received by Marshall Vian Summers in the spring of 1989--Step 3

I kind of agree. But when I know more about the trees and the life forms around me - and by this, I don’t just mean the labels of the names of things, as you say - but I mean that this, or this is poisonous, or this loves more light and enjoys ants protecting it, or that over there gives of a scent that drives the bees crazy...or that that plant is good for indigestion......So a little conceptual knowledge helps me know and enjoy the whole experience on a deeper level. I can sit quietly and immerse myself in nature drifting between conceptual and non conceptual, making my experience richer.

This is what I've used my ENTIRE. LIFE. My ego? I did was at with 'HER' and 'IT' loooong ago. Stop being a reactor and start eing thr observer. When you silence that impulsive aspect of the human behavior, it becomes much easier to tap into this. Your 'gut feeling', is ALWAYS RIGHT. Whether you like the outcome / result or NOT, Gaia does not care. The truth, entanglement, your BEing asone WITH everything, stop labeling things as well. As Eckhart says. It won't help you, if it does itll only help you and take you so far. Youll never reach the peaks of the mountains of you cant lie in the grass and BE ONE with the ladybugs and earthworms. Intuitive empath with a 'controversial' vknowingv similar to Eckhart's POVS. I also have an extremely sensitive, inner way in which I associate with, interact and engage with animals. Even wild animals. My fiancee grandfather, retired DEC for NYS, whos worked with wild animals thru the William T. Miners Institute for 45+ yrs (he still gets up and does what research he can for them every am at 4an) and hes even seen the way animals wil interact with me. "Hey DoLittle, come help me with this guy. His claws are horrible and he's got my arm pretty good (bad)." (It was a juvenile barn owl whos wing was a bit twisted from smacking into power lines and was spotted on the deer cam. I rode out and held my hand above his head at first, allowed him to 'feel' my energy to know I meant him no harm. He then allowedme to pet him and stroke under his beak. My fiances gramps jaw DROPPED! He tried getting his phone out of his pocket but doesnt have a very good camera- its a VERY old minutes flip phone. I'm called on so many diff captures and releases to calm the animals down for s smoother transition. Blessed to have been given this gift.
