Blade & Soul NA Throne of Oblivion Guide

A guide for the Throne of Oblivion weekly raid.
Attack Rotation:
1. Triple swipe (causes knock back).
2. Summons a Golem.
3. Front swipe (unblockable).
4. 180 degree suction followed by linear attack. Tank NEEDS to go behind the boss before this attack happens to direct the suction AWAY from the raid.
5. Repeats attack rotation.
*The boss will jump to the tank if not within melee range. This causes the rotation to reset. This can be abused to avoid the suction attack*.
Mechanics 90/60/30%:
1. Jumps to the centre. Flamewave Circle message appears. STOP DPS.
2. Everyone gets Fallen Soul or Blinding Power debuff. 30 seconds to cleanse it.
3. Spawns 4 large circles and 2 small circles (placement/order RNG).
4. Everyone needs to go into a large circle to cleanse the debuff. Maximum of 3 per circle.
5. Cleanse happens. A sword drops on everyone (damages & CCs). Possible to time iframe for the sword. Quickly CC the boss to avoid the sword drop attack.
6. The boss auto jumps to each large circle in the order they were spawned.
7. People can step on the small circle to gain a buff, which allows them to change the element of a large circle.
8. After the last large circle, a multi room wide AOE is emitted. Use HM Block or FM/Dest sheath. SAFE TO DPS.
9. Back to attack rotation.
Tips:
Players hit by the boss attacks will slowly increase gauge.
Gauge starts out as light or dark (RNG).
Debuff is RNG either Fallen Soul or Blinding Power.
Always STOP the DPS at the start of phase. Safe to resume DPS after last jump.
The large and small circle placements are RNG.
The small circles are consumed once someone steps on them. This allows the person to flip ANY large circle once.
Large circle elements can be changed from light to dark, or dark to light if the person had touched a small circle.
Maximum of 3 people per large circle.
Large circles become the element based on majority debuff. 2 Fallen + 1 Blinding = dark circle. 2 Blinding + 1 Fallen = light circle. 1 Fallen + 1 Blinding = neutral circle.
Neutral circles are red and heal the boss. They do not reduce/add to the gauge.
